A lot of the design choices were off-putting to me. I didn't like the time limit or having to do things over and over. I never felt compelled to finish this one. I did like the graphics and the overall dark and morbid tone however.
Why do you guys think the Cube version is better than the Wii version? The Wii version had slightly better visuals and made nice use of the remote.
I personally feel that Ocarina was outdone by all of the console Zelda games that came afterward. However, Ocarina was incredibly influential and amazing when it was first released, and it's aged very well.
I bought it because I really enjoyed the mercenaries mode in the recent console games. The 3DS version is fun, but the lack of save erasing is a dick move on Capcom's part, so I can understand the outrage.
I'm actually more offended by Capcom's refusal to admit the real reason they prevented the erasing of save data than the actual act of preventing the erasing of save data.
Why are you always going into Nintendo articles and talking trash? If you don't like what Nintendo has to offer, just avoid their products and Nintendo-related articles.
"I'm amazed how many times Nintendo will re-release the same old titles and people will buy them."
I'm amazed at the number of people who make comments like this. Nintendo releases far more new games than re-releases, not counting games released on the Virtual Console (3DS and Wii). Nintendo announced a lot of new games for 3DS at E3, many of which will release this year or early next year. Also, consider that this is the first time Ocarina has been released...
Definitely not Sonic. My pick is Mega Man.
Good response. Plus, as long as Nintendo keeps making great Zelda games, why stop?
Darksiders was derivative and uninspired but it was fun.
The Mario Galaxy games.
What do you mean "if Apple gets into gaming?" They're already in it.
Yeah Nintendo wasn't the first, but they sure as heck popularized handhelds like no other company.
No launch titles have been confirmed yet. This guy's just pulling this list out of his ass.
The PS Vita is the best game of all time?
Sony could add PS2 functionality to every PS3 with a simple firmware update. They just choose not to because they want the extra income from PS2 sales.

You actually need to be going to the woman in black in the Nexus and spending your souls to upgrade actual stats like power, defense, magic, etc., otherwise you'll remain too weak to progress. And of course, make sure you always have plenty of that healing grass (I forget the actual name).
Even if you're really careful, it's still harder than like 99 percent of other games of recent times. Bring on Dark Souls!
How did you play the game? Did you spend that 3 hours just hoarding your souls without spending them to upgrade your stats? If that's the case, then yeah, you're just going to keep dying and never progress past that first level.
Capcom the "winner," not "winners." Groups are singular.
