IGN and other review sites rate graphics based on the specifications of the console. When they're rating a Wii game's graphics, they're comparing it to other Wii games only. Same goes with every other console. People, please grasp this concept and stop whining about how Galaxy 2 got a 10 and (insert PS3 or 360 game) got a 9 or 9.5 for graphics. Seriously, stop it this instant.
First off, Square Enix sucks. They have for a while now, let's face it. Second, if it really bothers you that FF 13 Versus (which will most likely suck) might end up going to the 360 then you're a f***ing idiot.
I'm still waiting for Yoshi's Island: Super Mario World 2 to become available. Seriously, what's the hold up.
Earthbound would be great too. I played a little of it back in the day, but I'd love to play through the whole game. I remember it being really weird and fun.
People get way too bent out of shape about exclusives going multiplatform. Does it really matter if this gets ported to the 360? The PS3 folks (which includes me) will still get to play it, so why bitch?
And just for the record, FF 13 didn't end up sucking because it went to the 360. On the contrary, it was a great technical achievement sporting some of the best graphics I've seen. No, it sucked because it had a lousy story, bland characters, ultra linear design, a crap battle...

GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas ended up on the original XBox, and I don't hear many people bashing those. A lot of people down play GTA 4 because many people genuinely believe it was a letdown, myself included.
Bioware has a right to criticize Square Enix for FF 13 because it sucked.
The term "Fanboy" is one of the most overused and annoying terms in the history of gaming, so I don't like using it, but in all honesty, there does seem to be more PS3 fans on N4G than 360 fans, including me. I loves me my PS3. I love it long time.

What's with all the people claiming that Call of Duty 4 was great and Modern Warfare 2 was garbage. They're practically the same game as far as I'm concerned. Infinity Ward might as well have called the sequel Call of Duty 4.1.
I got a Wii recently knowing that Mario Galaxy 2 is coming out, and I decided to pick up the first Galaxy game and Monster Hunter. I'm really liking Monster Hunter so far. It may be a little off-putting at first, but stick with it and it should grow on you.

...I'll be buying a black Wii this weekend. I originally sold my Wii because of a serious lack of quality games being released but Mario Galaxy 2 is on the horizon. Plus we get a new Metroid and Zelda this year. Nintendo doesn't release many games but when they do, they're usually stellar and a cut above the rest.
In the article, this dude whines about not being able to play his PSOne games on a PS3, but if I'm not mistaken, every model of PS3, including the slims, can play PSOne disc-based games.

I don't know why so many people get so worked up about Jim Sterling. If you read this article, you'll clearly see that it's satire. On the whole I find Jim's articles to be pretty amusing. I don't consider him a troll. He just speaks his mind. Also, he was right about Final Fantasy 13.
I agree with Jim that Sony and Nintendo release too many versions of there portable systems (especially Nintendo), but the 3DS isn't just another iteration of the Nintendo DS. It's the successor to the DS, and it's welcome in my opinion. The DS is getting pretty old now, so I think it's about time to make that generational leap.
At the very least they should re-translate the game. The original English translation is filled with grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure errors.
Regardless, I still loved FF VII back in the day.
Versus 13 is going to suck no matter what platform it ends up on.
