Couldn't developers just use the touch screen as a second circle pad? All they would need to do is create a digital circle pad on the touch screen similar to what you see on the iPhone for games. I know it's not as good as the real thing, but it would work.
This is one of the dumber comments I've heard from Pachter, and that's saying something.
"Sony" adopts Apple's business model. There, I fixed the headline.
I agree. I don't mind online passes at all. It costs developers a lot of money to maintain online servers, so they need that extra income from people who buy games second hand.
There are other trends I find much more troubling, like charging money to unlock stuff that's already on the disc, like Capcom likes to do. That, and offering DLC so close to a game's release, that you wonder why it wasn't just including on the disc at release.
Only in Japan where Monster Hunter's an obsession. Everywhere else, not so much.
$170 plus tax ain't exactly free.
For f*** sake Nintendo, get rid of that cheap-a** blue shell, or at least make it more avoidable.
That's an amazing launch line-up if it's true. On top of that, there's a ton of stuff in the PS Store you can play on Vita including PSP games. I do believe Sony may dominate the handheld market this gen.
How would you be able to press A, B etc., AND control the camera even if the circle pad were placed below the buttons? Unless you control your games in some weird way, you have to take your thumbs away from the buttons to use the circle pad. So it shouldn't matter much if it's to the right of the buttons as opposed to below.
Didn't, not dident. You non-American douchebag.
Nintendo announces several new games including Monster Hunter 4, which may end up being exclusive to 3DS, and their shares drop? Why?
It would be nice if it had an extra battery in it to extend the 3DS's battery life.
Not much. It's mostly flamebait articles and opinion pieces (many of which are designed as flamebait). But every-so-often you'll see genuine news articles and links to good reviews.
@Holeran
You're right. According to Sony, they're not going invest as much capital into the production of the PS4 as they did with PS3, but that's not to say PS4 won't be significantly more powerful than PS3. It just won't be as big a leap as PS2 to PS3.
It's always great to get new Castlevania games. Make it SotN style with some cool 3D effects and I'm sold.
I'm sure Nintendo's worried about the Vita, but the two machines will both do fine.
I'm glad the 3DS is getting a second circle pad and an extra shoulder button, but they really should have been there from the start. I'm looking forward to the inevitable next model where these additions are built into the basic unit.
I agree.
Who cares about how the backgrounds look? The game still plays great.
Yes it is, and with Mario Land 3D and Mario Kart 7 on the horizon, sales are sure to increase for 3DS a lot more.
