Both systems have their strengths. Just get them both I say.
This is one of the better original Gameboy games. It's worth the 4 dollars.
FYI, this is not a port of the arcade game. It's the same gameplay but with a ton of different levels.
I don't know what it's like in Australia, but in the US you can indeed download 3D trailers for the 3DS games announced at E3.
As long as it's more Metroid Prime or Super Metroid and less Metroid: Other M then I'm all for it.
I was going to say the same thing. Ever since Nintendo announced the Wii U, I've seen nothing but doom and gloom articles and a lot of trash talk from the n4g community.
@firelogic
That's a silly exaggeration. The N64 ports are not the ONLY games appearing on the 3DS. The only two ports I know of are Ocarina of Time and Star Fox 64. Everything else is new.
So what if it's Zelda, Mario and Starfox. The games are great, and that's what counts.
If you strip away the crass, toilet humor in Conker, you were left with a generic, uninspired platformer. Ocarina of Time is a much better game.
Nintendo hasn't revealed raw specs, but they say Wii U can display a native 1080p resolution, which implies it will be a powerful machine. We'll just have to wait until performance specs are announced to find out just how powerful it will be.
@Jack
So what if I brought up the other consoles? This article is about the entire industry, not just Nintendo. You want to ask Cerberus why he chose to single out Nintendo when just about every gaming company is guilty of this. I usually hear people whine about Nintendo milking their franchises, especially here on N4G, but not a peep about other companies doing that also. And by the way Cerberus, that wasn't a rhetorical question. Do you have anything to say about all the sequels...
Nintendo changes up the gameplay in their franchises enough that they usually don't feel like mere sequels. What's your take on the plethora of sequels on the PS3 or 360?
This is the best portable Zelda game in my opinion. It's a must-have for anyone, especially if you've never played it.
I know Sony stated that Vita games will cost $39.99, but it's not unreasonable to assume that the higher memory games might cost more.
Nintendo really needs to announce official performance specs. I'm getting tired of rumors and speculation.
Yeah, Eamon's right. There's been a dramatic increase in Nintendo bashing, not an increase in "fanboyism." The worst are the Sony fanatics. Sorry, just stating a fact. I have nothing against Sony. I'm a proud PS3 owner, and I plan on getting a Vita.
Seeing the pic of Miyamoto holding the Wii U controller is worth viewing the article. Funny.
I think you meant to post this in an article about the Vita.
You're assuming Nintendo hasn't constantly been retooling the Wii-U throughout its development cycle as technology improves and costs go down. I doubt they just through something together 2 years ago and just left it at that without updates and changes.
I only say that because I think Nintendo likes being the less expensive alternative, and from what I've heard, a single 3DS only costs around 100 dollars to produce, so Nintendo would still make a healthy profit if they dropped the price to, let's say, 200 dollars.
Only if you're really into MMORPG's and/or RTS's. Otherwise, NO!
