I'm sure Nintendo's concerned at least a little, and I'm calling there bluff about not dropping the price. I think Nintendo will drop the 3DS price sometime around the launch of the Vita.
So it'll be the same piece of shit game on both systems. That's good to know.
This is like the 12th opinion piece I've seen about the Wii U since it was announced at E3. We know so little about the Wii U that it's hard to form any valuable opinion about it, so let's wait for more details about performance specs, games, controller functionality, price, etc., before we start forming opinions. Can we all do that?
Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised with Vita's overall pricing structure. I figured these games would be $49.99 or more.
This is looking great. I'm happy it's coming out this year.
I know, right? What's the confusion?
It's been confirmed that Wii controllers will work on Wii U, so maybe there will be an option to play this with a Wii motion plus controller.
We'll need to wait until specs are announced, but considering Nintendo kept the specs under wraps, that's not a good sign.
The controller doesn't seem that much different than the PSP/Vita in terms of size and shape, yet plenty of people seem comfortable with those portables.
It's nice these games are coming to Wii U, but by the time they release, they'll have been available on PS3 and 360 for a while. Hopefully, these games will get a nice graphical facelift and some extra content.
I was also disappointed about the lack of hard "coke" games. I need my fix darnit.
Despite the anti-Nintendo vibe on N4G regarding Wii U, I'm sure it'll be a great machine, and it will likely sell really well. I'm looking forward to what they'll do with that controller.
That's right -Superman-, even though Wii is a graphically superior machine than the PS2, Nintendo decided to release a successor that produces worse visuals than the PS2 just for s**** and giggles. This new machine is on par with PS3 and 360, maybe even better. We'll have to wait for official specs. Open your eyes, and shut your mouth.
I know that. But for people who are comfortable playing there PSP's, wouldn't the Wii U controller feel just as comfortable? Seriously, does it really look that bad, or is this all just a knee-jerk reaction from the Sony and Microsoft fanatics that would have happened regardless of what Nintendo unveiled?
I find it odd that people on N4G are complaining about this new controller, yet I hear nothing but praise about the Vita. The Wii U controller and Vita are almost identical in size and shape. Personally, I'm intrigued by this controller. And I'm not knocking the Vita. That looks awesome too.
It could just be that the image quality of the photos from the 3DS version is bad. That's something to consider.
It's not a competition, so there can't be a winner, but I think Nintendo's show will be the most interesting.
Those would be good prices. Also, expect Nintendo to drop the price of the 3DS by about 50 bucks before Vita (NGP) hits stores.
This would be a great launch line-up if it really happens.
If this was a launch color, I probably would have chosen it, but I'm happy with my blue 3DS.
