It would definitely not be in Nintendo's best interest to release new games on iPhone, but can't I see why they don't release older games from the NES, SNES, Gameboy, etc., on iPhone. It would generate more income for Nintendo without jeopardizing sales of their own handhelds.
Putting new games on smartphones would not be wise, but putting older games like NES, SNES, Gameboy games, etc., would be a great move.
The $35 price was pretty rare. Most DS games were $30 with smaller games like Brain Age and Picross being $20.
Or at least take 3DS game prices to DS levels, meaning $30 for the bigger games, and $20 or less for smaller games.
Maybe the $380 figure is for the 3G model and a single game, plus tax. That's my guess.
Of course. People are waiting until August 12 when the price officially drops. Though I'm baffled as to why Nintendo didn't just make the price drop effective immediately upon their initial announcement.
Geez, every day I go on this site, there's like 5 new "3DS is doomed" articles. It reminds me of what the PS3 had to go through during its first couple years. Give it a rest people.
This is a great deal to take advantage of.
Neat. Make it the arcade version with a low price, and I'm sold.
Mega Man is the man.
That's just weird that a new system is the same price as its predecessor. I don't think I've ever seen that before.
I've been hearing almost nothing but praise about the Vita. If you want to see people hating on something for little or no reason visit the 3DS and Wii U pages.
Even after that loss, the dude's still a billionaire (in U.S. currency, that is).
This report is coming from iDate, not Nintendo. So Nintendo isn't spewing anything.
That would be great if Nintendo acquired Megaman. Then they could hire Keiji Inafune to work on the games.
NO, GET A VITA!!! I'm just kidding. I don't really care.
I remember those days. When I had my Super Nintendo, just about every game I owned was developed by Capcom or Square (and of course Nintendo). Now I avoid most of what these companies (excluding Nintendo) put out, especially Square.
I'm sure someone could anonymously leak the specs. Gaming information gets leaked early all the time these days.
How do you know Wii U has an 8 gig harddrive? Has that been confirmed or are you just speculating?
