A lot of people say that for a game to get a very low score it has to be broken or plagued with bugs and glitches, but I have to disagree. There are games that are such horrid experiences, even if they're technically sound, that they may well deserve 1's or 2's out of 10. I don't know about Zombi U though because I haven't played it yet, but I'd like to try it out.
I could see this maybe being ported to Vita, but they would never make it a Vita exclusive, not with such a small install base of Vita owners, and the fact that all other numbered Metal Gears were console releases.
This isn't a doom article. The author states clearly that he likes the Vita, and he offers suggestions on how to improve sales and functionality.
Digital distribution is neither a privilege or a right, it's a business model. If enough people decide not to buy digital games because they think prices are too high, publishers will be forced to lower prices. Hopefully that will happen with the eShop and PSN. Why wouldn't you want that?
As a Wii U and 3DS owner, I would very much like to see a trophy/achievement type system on both those consoles. I don't NEED it, but it would be nice because it gives you more incentive to play the games and accomplish certain things.
What a coincidence. I personally bought 1.2 games when I purchased my Wii U.
I haven't experienced a single freeze or crash with my Wii U. Where are you getting your info?
They're announcing new colors, not new versions of the 3DS.
I'm looking forward to a release date for Pikmin 3. I really want that game! And it wouldn't hurt if they announce Mario Galaxy 3.
I can sorta understand the decision to impose limits on demos, but the fact that you can re-download them all you want makes it pointless. At least I'm assuming you can re-download Wii U demos like you can 3DS demos.
I have to agree. I loved part 2, but part 3 is boring and tedious. I have little desire to finish it. The only positive thing about 3 is that it looks terrific.
You're a douche.
"I've tried forcing my way through RE6's campaigns at least six times at this point, but I always throw my controller aside in frustration."
I couldn't even make it through the demo, it was so bad. I can't imagine trying to play through the actual game without dying of boredom and disappointment. I recently purchased and played through RE 4 HD on PS3 to remind myself what a good RE game is like. I wouldn't mind if Capcom assembled a talented deve...
Good. They're one of the best developers in the world right now. They deserve to grow. I can't wait to see what they develop for Wii U and maybe 3DS. I'd love for them to make a new Metroid.
It's not for sale in the eshop. It was just one of the freebies for ambassadors. No GBA games are for sale yet unfortunately. :(
It's a Wii U exclusive because Nintendo published and financed it when no one else would. If they hadn't, the game likely never would have been made.
If you're mad that Bayonetta 2 will be exclusive to Wii U, consider this: Had Nintendo not stepped in to publish the game, it likely never would have been made, in which case, you'd never be able to play it. If you never plan to buy a Wii U, you'll never be able to play it; so either way, you'll never play it. But at least the game will exist and you'll have an option to play it. So just be happy about that.
"Many fanboys/trolls will say they'll ignore the Wii U and then eventually get one."
Double Fixed
Me neither. Wii U looks set to offer a good mix of core and casual games, and I enjoy both, so I'm getting one.
It's clearly not a "doom and gloom" article. Even the headline makes that obvious. It says "The Vita is in big trouble." That's not an opinion, that's a fact. It's not selling well. You can't really deny that. Then it says "but it can be saved," and then the author goes on to explain what changes he thinks Sony should make in order to make the Vita successful. How does that qualify as "doom and gloom?" If you want to see some real do...
