You're right that it's similar to the DS, but the fact that the Wii U controller's screen isn't in a fixed position opens up gameplay options not possible on the DS. You can see examples in some of the Wii U tech demos and games.
Why do you exist?
The author of this piece may want to revisit some classic Mario games like Mario 3 and Mario World. I just did that recently, and even without warping, they're not THAT hard. In fact, New Mario Wii felt just as challenging as those games.
Yeah, there's definitely a nice selection of quality Nintendo games on Wii, especially the Mario Galaxy games, which I love. I just wish I could say the same about Wii's third party selection. Though there are some third party gems worth playing.
I agree so much that I'm telling you I agree along with clicking the Agree icon. Wouldn't you agree that's the best way to agree?
No, totally different. I never played the Genesis one, but the SNES game based on the animated series was a very good Konami game.
By the way, I feel the Arkham games should have been treated as separate games, holding the number 1 and 2 spots.
The lack of a second screen would make many 3DS games unplayable due to the necessity of both screens. This device would therefore be useless as a 3DS substitute. Ponder on that.
How so? I'm curious to know.
Adding a second circle pad to a future 3DS model wouldn't have to split the userbase. Nintendo could just dictate that developers who want to utilize two circle pads would also have to include a single circle pad control option, so that way no one is left out.
I was going to ask the same thing. I've heard of PSP Minis games, but not a PSP Mini handheld. What exactly is that jewanko?
With the XL you'll have no option for a second circle pad, so that's something to consider.
It's a stylized, cel-shaded adventure game that's similar to the 3D Zelda games. It was originally released on PS2 and later ported to the Wii. It was highly rated and is considered a cult classic.
It hasn't been confirmed yet for the West, but I hope it comes to the U.S. soon.
That's unfortunately true.
Well I actually want a new Galaxy game, but I'll settle for a New Super Mario.......for now.
Agreed. Pikmin 3 is enough to get me to buy a Wii U at launch. I'm also looking forward to New Super Mario Mii, even though I'm not a huge fan of the New Marios as I find them to be a bit too casual and easy. The Galaxy games on the other hand are pure gaming bliss, so I hope Nintendo releases part 3 on Wii U sometime soon.
Correction: it has no ONLINE multiplayer, but it does have offline multiplayer just like part 2.
I'm of the opinion that Nintendo should release two versions of Wii U, one that includes the tablet controller, and a cheaper one that just has the pro controller. That way, people who aren't interested in the tablet controller can still get the system, but also save some money.
That joke is older than Larry King's balls.
Good, I was concerned about this when I heard the announcement the Gamepad wouldn't be sold separately. Good to know I can get a replacement if needed. Hopefully Nintendo won't overcharge.
