Good question, but better late than never. More Nintendo games is always a good thing.
You're right Nintendo Land is a solid game. I think Nintendo has learned from the past not to pack in Mario games with consoles since the games sell so damn much on their own. They want that income.
They very likely will. I'm hoping they'll make one sku that's $250 available in black or white and maybe pack in Nintendo Land. That would be a smart way to compete with Sony and MS by making Wii U significantly less expensive.
Of course. It was released months after the other versions for full retail. I don't know why these publishers expect late, full retail ports on Wii U to sell well. And then based on those poor sales, they drop support and don't release a Wii U version of future games even though they'd release on the same day as the other versions for the same price when it would make more sense to purchase the Wii U version. Weird.
Nice! I'm looking forward to 3D Mario.
The Wii U is not going to fail and be discontinued. In all likelihood, it will sell a respectable number of units throughout it's lifespan, and Nintendo will make healthy profits from first party games. It won't sell like the Wii, but it won't fail either. People are just kicking it right now while it's down. But once more first party heavy hitters come out, sales of the Wii U will dramatically increase.
"Third party support has never been one of Nintendo's strengths."
This is a bizzare misconception that many people have, but in reality most of Nintendo's consoles and handhelds have had great third party support. Really, only the Wii and N64 were lacking in third party support. And don't say Gamecube. That system had a healthy amount of third party ports and exclusives.
Neat, as long as it's not boring and tedious like AC 3.
Just bring back Error. That's all.
My favorite system. Tons of classics.
Get ahold of the Galaxy games asap. They're both terrific.
I really enjoyed the new Tomb Raider, but it should have been called something else because it didn't feel like a Tomb Raider game. There were only a few tombs, and they were way too short, and they were only optional. Good game nonetheless.
That would be odd not to finish this game considering it's great from start to finish, and there's no multiplayer mode to steal players' attention.
I managed to beat the trial on my first try (before the patch) on normal difficulty, but just barely. It was a challenge, but it wasn't that daunting.
This would be nice to get a good port of the 360 version on Wii U since I can only play the shoddy PS3 port.
Nintendo is publishing Bayonetta 2, so it will come to Wii U and it will remain exclusive.
If this was an article about how Fast & Furious: Showdown was NOT coming to Wii U, there would be like 50 to 100 trollish comments about how much the Wii U sucks. Just putting that out there.
That would be great. The Gamecube had a lot of great games.
You're exaggerating. It takes roughly 6 to 10 seconds to load apps or settings, not 16 seconds or longer. Though I'm not sure what it's like with the update because I haven't downloaded it yet. Hopefully it improves things.
It was a great move, and they pretty much had to do it. Too many Xbox gamers were ready to jump ship to Sony, and I'm sure uninformed Xbox One buyers would have been livid to learn what kind of DRM plagued their new machine. This reversal ensures Xbox One will be successful and more enticing. Me personally, I'm still sticking with Sony and Nintendo. But at least now I can actually consider the Xbox One as a possible purchase at some point.
