Have you even played games like Uncharted 2 or 3, God of War 3, Infamous/Infamous 2, Killzone, or The Last of Us? Do you have an idea what kind of games you're missing out on? Halo Smalo.

Sony's gddr5 ram consumes less power and produces less heat than the gddr3 chosen by Microsoft. There is your solution. Sony engineers aren't dumb.

Sony won, hands down. Microsoft showed some interesting games, but nothing that made me feel by not buying the system I would be missing out. I know Sony has the first party developers that make the games I want to play, and that continues to be shown late this console cycle with games like The Last of Us and Beyond:Two Souls. The games that interested me the most so far at E3 are Bungie's Destiny (looked fantastic), Ubisoft's Watch Dogs (expected) and The Division (wow..I mean..wow),...

People who love gaming and everything it has been or will be won't be buying the Xbox One because of their anti-consumer policies, and the fact that it is underpowered compared to the PS4 yet still costs more. That leaves Microsoft with lovers of softy games and kinect nonsense. If they can sustain a system with folks who might buy two games a year, good luck to them. And good luck to you with the brutal raping you're going to receive from this company. My suggestion, go for the V...

Developers cannot afford to "boycott" Sony, especially if the PS4 sells well. They would only be hurting themselves. The only "boycott" would be from developers like Respawn whom Microsoft buys out. Sony still has plenty of first party muscle of it's own waiting to crank out classics, much like The Last of Us and Beyond:Two Souls are looking to be.

They may be drunk, but apparently you are very dumb. Sony is dealing from a position of strength. I will be enjoying The Last of Us and Beyond:Two Souls while my 360 collects dust waiting for it's live gold subscription to expire. At that point, Microsoft expires, to me. Sony has supported the PS3 incredibly with fantastic exclusives the last few years, and there is no reason to believe that will stop with the PS4. If fact, it appears Sony is doubling down. I'm placing my chips ...

The Xbox One is a dump truck compared to the PS4's ferrari. And somehow Microsoft is going to convince some dummies to buy the dump truck, at a premium price, no less. PS4 has the technical superiority, is the sleeker console, and the PS4's gddr5 operates at lower power consumption with less resultant heat than Microsoft's ddr3. The exclusive games Microsoft showed were good, not great. And they certainly don't make Sony nervous, not when Sony has the first party developer...

Loveofthegame, if you think Microsoft won that conference, I couldn't disagree more. I find it interesting that you say Sony showed "exclusives we already knew about". That doesn't make them any less exclusive, it simply means you're brain is captivated at the moment because Microsoft showed you something you hadn't seen before. That doesn't automatically mean it's better, just more fresh in your mind. Personally I think Infamous Second Son is better than...

Man poprocks, I wasn't impressed at all by Microsoft's conference. The game I would most be looking forward to from them would be Halo, but they didn't show anything but the name really. I was much more intrigued by Destiny, Watch Dogs, Infamous Second Son, and The Division looks remarkable. Titanfall doesn't do it for me, but mech combat never really interested me so I know I'm not the target audience. I thought Sony knocked it out of the park, especially considering ...

I believe for Microsoft next gen means the kinect will now red ring, not the console. I can imagine that kinect will fall and start to malfunction on many people, and then their overpriced, underwhelming Xbox One will be as useless. That is, until you buy another kinect. That may be their plan all along, the greedy bastards.

Sony just lay the hammer down, and Microsoft has to be stunned. They are so arrogant, they are probably still patting themselves on the back after their lackluster conference. Good luck with that Microsoft. Sony just delivered a masterstroke and a deathstroke, and with a single blow. PS4.

They delivered more games at the Sony conference than the Microsoft conference. You're getting confused because to this point Microsoft hadn't shown any games, while Sony had showed more than a few. I'm more interested in Killzone:ShadowFall, Infamous Second Son, Watch Dogs, Destiny, and The Division than anything I saw at Microsoft's conference (Halo being the exception, but we didn't see much). But maybe that's just me. These are the facts though. Sony has the m...

Not to mention this guy seems to forget the obvious...Sony has killer first party developers. Naughty Dog alone should be enough to convince fence sitters to buy a PS4. The Last of Us? Beyond:Two Souls? Quantic Dream anyone? Suckerpunch? Sony Santa Monica? The Order:1886? Sony's conference delivered everything you could want. A more powerful system? Check. Great pricing? Check. An online component that pays for itself in a few months time with quality, recently released games?...

So, let's recap. The PS4 has the better technical specs but is priced reasonably with first party developers the Xbone can't match. Wait, let's not recap any further. That's all anyone should need. The DRM issue is just the slap in the face that should knock you into some sort of common sense, but unfortunately I feel you and others like you enjoy being Microraped. Good luck with that.

The games on PS4 didn't have the wow factor because you've seen most of them already. But I would put Killzone:Shadow Fall and Infamous Second Son up against anything Microsoft trotted out yesterday.

Did you see The Division? My God that game looked stunning. This years Watch Dogs from the same developer. Personally, I though The Division and Destiny were the most technically impressive games I saw yesterday.

This game was the most graphically impressive thing I saw at any of the press conferences, with the exception of The Division, the Ubisoft game. Destiny said next gen to me, as did the Division and Watch Dogs. Titanfall really didn't do it for me. I'm not a mech guy so that may be part of it. That 1886 Sony exclusive interested me more than Ryse, as the 1886 game has a supernatural element, which I'm very intrigued by while Ryse looks good graphically but again, as with Titanf...

Well, the good part is you'll be buying the technically superior console with an unbeatable lineup of first party developers, strong indie content, and a online pay service that more than pays for itself within a few months of ownership. You can't, and never could, say the same for the 360 and live gold, and the Xbone is a dump truck compared to the PS4's Ferrari.

4756d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Thanks for apparently being one of the fools to line up to buy the Xbone, a console that is not as powerful as the PS4 yet somehow costs more, all while giving you no ownership of your content. Good luck with that. Enjoy your brokebox.

I'm not as upset with the mandatory online Sony is now going to collect because delivering the content on psplus they offer is not cheap. Microsoft has required online for multiplayer for years while offering nothing compared to what Sony offers. Sony has delivered a superior console with great first party development houses at a significantly better price, all while giving us freedom of content. The fees they collect will allow them to offer us all a better product. Unlike Microsoft ...
