That's right buddy. Ride that dead horse right into it's coffin. Before you know it, you'll discover you can't breathe. Then it's all over. It's pretty pathetic if a gamerscore is the reason you will subject yourself to Microsoft's anti-consumer policies. Maybe you need to take a good long look in the mirror and ask yourself what kind of person you are. The kind to bend over and take it? Or the kind to grow a spine and stand up for yourself and your rights f...
Of course they do. As any good company must have. The difference is they don't take away your freedoms as a consumer then try to cover their ass and protect themselves from indemnity by drafting a document dripping with legalese.
This just in...Phil Harrison is a delusional crackhead.
The Division and Destiny were the most technically impressive to me. I also liked Infamous, Watch_Dogs, Killzone, Battlefield 4, and MGS5. I also liked the concept of The Order 1886, although there was no gameplay.
Lord help you. You may need some prescription glasses because that game looked incredible. Now, maybe the gameplay style is not to your taste, but if you can't appreciate the graphics of that demo, then there is nothing at E3 you must have liked.
Well, he should have no complaints for the PS4 as that system let's indies self-publish their content.
Sony has learned it's lesson the hard way, but in saying that they still have sold more consoles worldwide despite launching more than one year after the 360 and not taking into account the 360's inflated sales due to red ring replacement units. Microsoft is about to learn their lesson. Fuck with the hardcore at your own peril. Try to release a console that is technically inferior to your competitor while charging more and restricting what gamers can and cannot do with their purcha...
Games made the 360 successful. That and the fact developers didn't like coding for the PS3 so multiplats performed better on the 360. I picked up a 360 when I first laid eyes on Gears of War and Mass Effect. I picked up my PS3 when I saw MGS4 and Uncharted 2. I'll be picking up a PS4 on day one. The Xbox One will see none of my home, not because it doesn't have any games I may be interested in, but because the greedy bastards at Microsoft have bungled and fumbled with their p...
This guy has been hammering away at Microsoft for quite awhile now. Can't say they don't deserve it.
I agree...I also thought Destiny looked amazing at the PS4 demo.
What a shock. I would be ok with this if it meant lowering the initial cost of games. But don't nickel and dime me for every last damn item that should have been included at ship date when you're expecting to receive sixty dollars for your new game.
Good for you, stick to your pc. Nobody cares. It's interesting all these pc guys flood forums dedicated to consoles. Interesting indeed.
The problem is, real life often doesn't look very good. I don't want a photo realistic game. I saw the Division demo and was blow away by what I saw. It wasn't photo realistic, but it was realistic.
4k TV is vastly overrated. You will see no difference in visual fidelity between 4k and 1080p unless you have a screen in excess of 70 inches and sit very close to your screen.
I don't want an Xbox One because it's a technically inferior, bloated product with an artificially inflated price point and anti consumer policies that only benefit big business. PS4. Case closed.
Another thing to consider is the fact that Microsoft has had the advantage in sales in the U.S. and the U.K with the 360 over the PS3, but the PS3 has outsold the 360 elsewhere around the globe with more total units sold despite being launched more than one year after the 360 with none of the resultant console redundancies Microsoft has enjoyed by selling multiple units to many consumers due to red ring of death issues.. With Microsoft's anti-consumer policies, their advantage in the U.S...
I think for the hardcore gamers, and that would include anyone posting on N4g, the writing is on the wall and the PS4 is the dominant platform and the one to purchase. But for the general public, who doesn't do research before buying any device, I don't believe that will be the case. Some of them may buy an Xbox One only to be severely disappointed in restrictions they had no idea they were signing up for. The Xbox One will probably see returns in droves, as the general public slow...
The Division was spectacular, but Destiny was equally as impressive to me. I will be getting both for my PS4 when they are available.
Gamestop is getting their comeuppance for pushing the 360 so hard. What did it get them? A vicious kick, right in the scrotum from a grateful Microsoft. Enjoy Gamestop. Maybe they will not even bother to sell the Xbox One. Ban it the way Microsoft is attempting to ban used games.
PS4. Day 1.
