Some folks are just miserable and will complain about anything, even free stuff. Me, I've got my PS4 on preorder and I will be buying the camera at launch. I support Sony. I can no longer support Microsoft, they have been fumbling and stumbling for a few years now and I'm bored by live gold and all the ads and the lack of exclusives late in the console cycle. I may one day buy the Xbox One, but probably only when they discover how to engineer a console without a power brick in a f...
You're absolutely right jimbobbeers, and the creative director of the Killzone franchise also stated Killzone is making the move to the triggers for the DS4 as well. No doubt that will be the norm.
The PS4 excites me, the Xbox One confuses me. The PS4 is day one. I will probably buy the Xbox One at some point, but not at 499. Maybe I'll wait for the redesign, because that box is big, bulky, and not very appealing. I would also like to see them do away with the power brick on a redesigned model. It's soon to be 2014 Microsoft, enough with the power brick already. And how about a removable hard drive like Sony offers? C'mon man. Fix your box.
It's kinda funny because I can't think of even one reason.
This guy obviously didn't see games like The Division, Destiny, Infamous Second Son, or Killzone running on actual PS4 dev kits, unlike Microsoft's cloak and dagger shiftiness with their games running off high end pc's whose specs are vastly superior to what the Xbox One will actually be capable of. Talk about delusional.
I'm really worried about how much time I will sink into a game like this. It may turn me into a gollum.
Watch Dogs, The Division, and Destiny for me please. The Order looks interesting, but I need to see gameplay first.
Uh oh... how will Microsoft respond? They're gonna have to put some spinners on that Xbone, maybe some strobe lights. Major Nelson better get on twitter and announce that every Xbone will come with a lightsaber. In all seriousness, PS4 is killing them. As an owner of a 360 and PS3, there is literally nothing Microsoft has shown that intrigues me. I was shocked to find out that with the size of that Xbone they still couldn't find a way to eliminate the power brick. Unbelievable. ...
Right....and horsepower doesn't matter in automobiles either. I'm sure that Nasa's Jet Propulsion Lab can now rest easy because this gentleman has let us all know that performance is irrelevant. No need to push the boundaries at all. These sorts of things don't matter when you're on the short end of the stick. I bet this guy doesn't think penis size is important either, most likely because he's hung like a common shrew. That's what happens when someone els...
I'm struggling to understand why, if you only have the money for one console, anybody would touch the Xbox One. There is absolutely no comparison. Better hardware, better first party developers, full indie support, reasonable next gen pricing, PsPlus, all from a company that seems to be doing everything possible to show gamers it understands what we want. PS4. There is no other.
My question is...does anybody really care? Sony has plenty of first party developers that will be releasing more than enough exclusives to busy the fingers of PS4 gamers. Titanfall would be just another also ran, especially as it won't see a release on PS4 till maybe late 2014 or 2015.
Some people are too in love with their gamerscore to give it up. The achievement chasers seem to value their score more than their own families. Pretty pathetic. I have a 360 and a PS3, and I was sold on Sony and their first party developers years ago. They have games from developers I HAVE TO PLAY next gen. Microsoft, not so much. I'm a bit fatigued with Gears and Halo, and timed exclusivity for shooters does nothing for me, I'm over it. So the PS4 is my clear choice at launch...
Destiny, The Division, Infamous Second Son, and Watch Dogs are my favs as of right now.
The price game, the superior specifications game, the first party developers game, the indie game, the game is over son. PS4.
NeverEnding1989 is full of never ending lies and apparently his confusing is also unending. Enjoy your Cod with mechs and broken clouds. The rest of us will be playing Killzone, Infamous, and Battlefield on the superior hardware, eagerly awaiting the multitude of exclusives in development for the PS4 from proven developers that delivered the majority of the best games of this current gen. Good luck with that power bricked Xbone though, I'm sure Microsoft's build quality has signifi...
Me likey. Me wantey.
Never was a big fan of Halo but Destiny will be a buy for me for my PS4.
Craig667, it is a good thing, assuming you don't control your entertainment system with proprietary apps through your tablet or smartTV already. That's were I have an issue, because I already have more control through those devices than anything Microsoft can possibly offer. So that functionality is lost on me completely. I'd rather have 2 of those 3gb that their operating system uses available to devs, like Sony is doing. But that's just me, I guess. I preordered a PS4 b...
The cloud is a pipe dream folks. A crack pipe. In a perfect world, where bandwidth and bottlenecks weren't an issue, it would have a chance. But the infrastructure of the internet makes Microsoft's claims an impossibility. Everything that is offloaded to the cloud is subject to latency issues, which creates lag in games. That means that what is able to be offloaded will be minor details and processes that are not latency dependent. The vast majority of the grunt work will still ...
This just in...Microsoft has reversed it's decision to reverse itself, thereby reversing the reversal of reversings. I can't make it any more clear than that.
