jlo probably believes the engineers behind the power bricks and red rings. Case closed.

I expect that when I purchase an electronic product (or any appliance) that it is built to function properly. The red ring fiasco was appalling. Would you accept such failure from an automobile company? How about your refrigerator or microwave manufacturer? Could you imagine the outcry if flat panel tv's were so unreliable and prone to failure? Microsoft has proven only to be incompetent, at just about every level. How anyone could have confidence in their new Xbone considering how ...

Sorry mathsman, I meant to say fall of 2014. I know it's not coming this year.

abc1233...I'll be playing GTA V and Beyond:Two Souls as well...only when I put those down I'll be picking up Killzone Shadow Fall and Battlefield on my PS4. Case closed.

Good for youabc1233...while you're doing that, I'll be playing the Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4, Killzone ShadowFall, DriveClub, and Infamous Second Son on my PS4 holding that beautiful DS4 in my hands. And I'll be loving it.

The only game I would make an exception for is the next saga in the Mass Effect series.

This game looks ridiculously good. I'm really wondering how everything will work together, how matchmaking will work and how seamless the shift from campaign to pvp battles will be. Ubisoft is making some very interesting and dynamic titles right now. Hopefully I will be playing this game in the fall on my PS4.

I've never played a Witcher game but after seeing this at E3, I will definitely be looking at picking this up for the PS4.

Sony engineering>Microsoft engineering, and by a wide margin.

I can't think of a reason why people would leave their console on for days on end, unless they went away and simply forgot to turn it off. But even in those instances, how about setting up the timer to turn off your unit after so many hours of inactivity? Talk about wasting electricity and putting the device to an unnecessary heat cycle.

I'm going to get full value out of this gen and next gen. I'll still be playing my PS3/360, but my PS4 is preordered and I look forward to getting my hands around that DS4 and doing some damage day one in Killzone, Battlefield, Watch Dogs, and downloading the free psplus edition of DriveClub. Infamous Second Son in January? Count me in. I'll be in gaming heaven.

The comments these guys have been making are not filling me with confidence. How can it be the same game from current to next gen? If that is the case, you're not utilizing the tools afforded by the next gen consoles properly.

It's a good time to be a Playstation owner. I have a 360 and a PS3, and the ratio of time I spend playing games on each has shifted significantly as this console generation ages. The first few years, my time was dominated by games like Gears, Modern Warfare, and Mass Effect for my 360...for the past few years, Sony exclusives, like Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Killzone 3, Infamous 2, MGS4, GT5, and The Last of Us have gotten most of my time (and money). I'm all in for PS4. Sony'...

People really love to complain. One of the best, if not the best, developer on the planet has consistently graced the gaming public with phenomenal games and we sit here and moan about what amounts to rather insignificant little bugs? Really? I loved the game. That story is fantastic, the world they created is brutal, harsh, and wonderful. I can tolerate an occasional glitch considering everything the game is. Nothing in this life is perfect. Why would you expect any game to be?

This game should be experienced by anyone who considers themselves a fan of gaming. It is a masterclass in game design and storytelling. I highly recommend playing this game on the survival difficulty setting, as that really makes you feel the fear of knowing just how tenuous your hold on life is and walking into an environment having no idea how many infected or human opponents there are while having little to no resources at your disposal really makes you feel the desperation of the situa...

Yes, because that box isn't big enough already. Now you want to take up more space with an external drive and that damn power brick. Lovely. It's 2014. It's time for Microsoft engineers to get their s@$@ together and take some lessons from Sony engineers on how to build a console that doesn't overheat in a reasonably sized form factor.

You'll say that yeahokchief until you see a few games running on the new hardware. It will be hard to put down that smooth new DS4 once you pick it up. Watch_Dogs on my shiny new PS4 is a must. And with Killzone at launch and Infamous Second Son soon after, those are can't miss for me. I will hang onto my 360 and my PS3 but that PS4 is day one for me. I'm just not sure which system (360 or PS3) I will be buying GTA for.

I'm not holding off on the PS4, and I will be playing GTA V. I want it all.

Listening to their pr people, Microsoft is doing a pretty good job of keeping their own people in the dark. Good luck with that.

Thank you for exhibiting a certain level of common sense, Wickedlester. Folks don't seem to understand how the research and development or the manufacturing process works.
