If this whole thing was only for the gum then there would be no point in going on with the ARG since they send you gum right from the start. Game companies are always doing cross promotion with other brands like Pepsi, Doritos, and now gum.

It won't hurt Forzas sales at all. For me Forza is my main driving game, I like GT5 but its not my favorite. Sometimes I play Need for Speed games, but probably not anymore. I was never crazy about NFS before and now I just want to say "screw EA" and not buy any of them. Of course I do still buy Madden and Battlefield so they get me either way.
I was sold long before all the hard details came out. But for anyone that plays often and doesn't consider themselves a hardcore player...I would still highly recommend this. Big freaking deal. Single player on one disc, multiplayer on the other disc. How many times are you going to be changing the discs back and forth? Probably none. Its no different than having to switch discs when you want to play a different game. I install all the current games I'm playing on my 360 anyway. Okay, so you don't like it anymore. You can't please everyone. Every game has its detractors. Normal people worry about the stuff they games they do like. Why would you even compare Borderlands with MW3 or BF3? Thats like comparing Bioshock to those games. Sure its an FPS, but thats really just the control mechanic. Its really part RPG, part sandbox. Its better compared to first and third person action and rpg games and not the multiplayer focused fps games. Wether it looks better....everyones opinion varies.

I wish people would stop crying about games being balanced because what they mean is they want everything to work in their favor or the game must be broken. If you are running across deathstreaks a lot, then you are already beating the crap out of the other team. And these things are so minor that if they are a hinderance to you then you need to improve your game.
Like any popular thing, the haters will go out of there way to show their dislike for something. No matter how much you fill comment boxes and message boards, the sales and amount of playtime the games get tells you the haters are in the minority. Yes its for gum...but also for Halo 4. Have we not seen game and merchandise ad campaigns together over and over and over. Do you think Wrigleys would go to this expense for some new flavors of a gum thats already been out without it being tied to a bigger reason. The ARG is for Halo 4, with the gum catching a ride as a marketing partner. And they needed a new partner to go with since Mountain Dew dropped the Halo series in favor of teaming with Modern Warfare 3 this year.
If you pay attention to the leaked video....the game on screen clearly reads that its a build strictly for COD XP. Wait until the game comes out or before there is an official number before gathering the lynch mob. And you have to look at the game as a whole, what other modes and features have been added to the game that take up space and development time. You just can't go by the number of maps only.
I wouldn't be surprosed to see two discs on the 360. I've heard rumors of it. If its one disc for SP and one for MP , I would be fine with that. Its not like you are going to be switching them back and forth often....if ever.
Usually I think Gamestop is unfairly attacked on here, but this one deserves people bring out the pitchforks. If this is true, then I could live with this. Nothing bothers me at first glance but I'm sure I could find a few things with more thought put into it. No matter what they take out or add to keep the fans happy, the fans will still find more to complain about. If we are all playing under the same ruleset then none of this would bother me.
Its not a possibility, its a fact. Microsoft said they wouldn't kill off the 360 the way they did the Xbox. After doing it the first time they realized it was a mistake. You just can't do that nowadays with the amount of DLC, online gaming, and additional services that are on consoles.
Call of Duty needs to come of the list and replaced with Mario. The thing will all the franchises listed is they get less popular and less successful than previous games. The opposite is true with Call of Duty, it continues to become more popular and sell more. Until it slows down it hasn't been milked enough unless you just an anti-cod person.
