MysticStrummer - I'm not sure you get it. My opinion is my opinion and I'm as entitled to say I think an Elder Scrolls MMO is a terrible idea as you're entitled to look forward to it.
I've played all five Elder Scrolls games to completion (even Daggerfall), and would have spent over 100 hours in each of the last three.
Hardcore enough for you?
Just to clarify the point before this inevitably degenrates into silly bickering - you don't speak for the entire gaming population any more than I do. I never asked for an Elder Scrolls MMO and therefore I am fully entitled to question Bethesda's direction in making one.
This gamer wanted Elder Scrolls VI and never, ever asked for a MMO.
Great review for a great game in a great series.
That's not a valuation. The numbers in the Deloitte report are sales revenue. A very different thing.
Apple is the most valuable company in the world right now.
Uh. Konami owns Silent Hill, not Capcom, and the last Silent Hill game was also outsourced.
As long as it's not outsourced to a western developer, which all the Japanese publishers seem to like doing right now.
Also, just to clarify a point for you: I'm aware that this is for the physical copy of the game. That's why I wrote "The prizes at higher price points are even more spectacular and include some things that JRPG fans would consider desirable collectibles. "
ie. a physical copy of the game. I see it all the time on forums and the like a preference for a physical copy of a game. Hence the "collectible part."
There will be no physical...
@snookies Midas Interactive (the publishers of A-Train) doesn't have rights to any of the games you listed there. So why bring them up? This is a review of A-Train, not a "games we want on PSN" list. I'm confused what kind of point you're trying to make here.
You do know that different companies publish all of those games you've listed there, right?
I loved this game. Never got the attention it deserved.
lol. Like IGN knows how to review a Tecmo Koei game. They don't advertise, you see.
aCasualGamer - I think you need to learn the difference between your own personal opinion, and what is actually a "big game."
Dynasty Warriors is a massive franchise that outsells Uncharted in Japan.
Whilst it's cool that you're not into the Vita right now, "a lack of big games" is not the reason. "A lack of games I'm interested in," is.
So in conclusion a lot of people on N4G don't like gaming on the iPad.
@aCasualGamer
I guess you haven't played Dynasty Warriors, Ninja Gaiden or BlazBlue, then.
Insert a predictable response about how those games suck etc etc. Fact remains that there are plenty of full-length Vita games right now for people who have broader tastes in games.
I love this series. What an interesting direction to take it.
It's just "cool" to hate on smartphones and table gaming. That's why people do it. It's not a rational response, it's an emotional one because there's a bunch of people out there too attached to their consoles to give something different a fair go.
For what it's worth, I agree with you :) as my favourite genres are RPGs and strategy, I get a lot of value out of my iPad for gaming.
Now watch as I get a bunch of "disagree...
King's Field iPad?
Well, thank you, From Software. You just made my day. :)
Yeah, I play a lot of import games, and having to buy both a Japanese and Australian 3DS annoyed me no end.
No.
