On the other hand, some people appreciate the ability to extend their games past what was originally released.
You didn't enjoy it? Great, you'll agree with the scores.
That doesn't necessarily mean that other people aren't allowed to enjoy it.
While a game might not always be technically fantastic, that doesn't necessarily mean the game isn't fun. People are enjoying Operation Raccoon City and that's ultimately what's important.
Plus it's Resident Evil, with actual zombies. For die-hard fans, it's probably worth overlooking problems.
If you head into a supermarket, especially with HMV and GAME struggling, you're unlikely to find a huge choice of games. Without dedicated stores, middle tier games are going to be rarer than they already are and variety in titles will lessen.
I understand your argument, but there's no way that a major video game retailer going under is going to benefit anybody, whether buying or supplying.
I think the idea that most people shop online is probably not true. It's becoming a more popular thing, but a lot of people still probably wouldn't go online to buy games or CDs or films.
If the high street shops disappear, there are going to be less impulse buys - especially from parents, grandparents - and that can only damage the industry.
And, if you want to take a look at the other side, the loopholes for the Channel Islands are being closed and ...
I would say no, but that isn't as negative as perhaps some would have you think.
We'll continue to get decent romances, but I think the difference between interacting with something and reading about it makes it difficult to rival how other media might handle it.
Instead, I think what's important is to build upon that interactivity so that we can have something unique to us, just as good artistically, but in a different vein.
Yeah, sure, they're honest but there's so much information coming out - some of it true, some of it completely false - that it's impossible for them to keep up with it. They take the headline at face value, especially at N4G, and that means that they have great opinions but, nine times out of ten, those opinions are knee-jerk reactions to unsubstantiated nonsense.
And they don't remember that when they get angry, so you end up with nonsense like "The From...
Thank you. There we have it.
@Kingdom Come
That people like games that they can play with friends and family? What HAS the world come to?
No doubt this will get super hot and have everybody foaming at the mouth, but I ask that you take a look at the comments for the original source.
Just because there are DLC details on the disk doesn't mean that the DLC was finished when it went to press. It means that bits were finished and that putting them on the disk is a smart way of limiting file size when it actually comes to download.
Unless anybody who has actually played the game and gotten the D...
At the end of the day, Nintendo didn't not publish Binding of Isaac on the 3DS because of "religion". They chose not to release it because it has the potential to offend, both in terms of items within the game and because of the content's handling of religion.
That's a world of difference. Everybody at Nintendo could be staunch atheists and absolutely love the game, but if it could offend 60% of the people who own a 3DS, it doesn't make any sense to ...
Love the topic, although it's never going to get approved.
Language evolves, it always has. Fifty years ago you'd be punished for ending a sentence on a preposition, now can put "txtspk" into an exam and pass so long as what you've written is understandable.
As for video game or videogame, I'd go with the former because the definition stands alone as two words. That's personal choice though and it wouldn't surprise me to see ...
I love them and I don't see why people there's so much outcry against them. They're usually dirt cheap (per game) and the upgrades (especially in terms of trophies) add a new dimension to something that could have felt stale.
Granted, I understand that people would rather just have a PS2 emulator built into the PS3, but ultimately I see it as a different product anyway.
I wasn't moaning mate, maybe you should read again.
See peep's reply.
Being a follower of Jaffe on Twitter, it seems he swears an awful lot. Sometimes, like this time, it suits the context.
It seems like a fair price, but remember you basically require a memory card - not included - and probably a game.
The deal-powers that be have deemed this deal "not as good" as the deals from Play and Amazon.
I've never understood the people who hate trophies/achievements. They're completely optional and the fact that they take up space on screen for a couple of seconds is hardly a terrible thing.
It's almost as if people believe that, because of achievements, the developers feel they can put less effort into replayability. In reality, the lack of extra items and hidden cutscenes this gen is probably down to the increasing costs of development that have led to a lack o...
Probably because mine was submitted quite a bit before there's and sunk until it didn't need as many approves.
That sucks and I stand corrected.
It doesn't seem there are any hard feelings here, so it'll be nice to see where he goes from here.
