@Witness
I've still yet to be told by a single person who has knocked Family Share why it wasn't awesome.
A lot of people have told me it wasn't. Not a single damn reason.
@RedHawkX
I can just imagine some Nintendo executive coming across your comment, falling to his knees and screaming like a scene out of Platoon...
"WE COULD HAVE JUST COPIED AND PASTED!"
@MysticStrummer
I think most people, myself included, loved things about the Xbox One and hated things about the Xbox One. Unfortunately, the things that were hated were annoyances and inconveniences and the things we loved were pretty cool, and now we've lost it all.
I think that's a good reason to say it got worse in some ways. No digital selling/trading, no family share... this is all stuff that would have changed the way we share, purchase and enj...
So what makes you a true gamer and him a pretend one?
No, it was always a cool feature. It remains a cool feature. It'd be a cool feature regardless of which platform it was on.
Steam IS DRM.
If a country doesn't do as the EU says, there's usually just a fine. The fine is usually less than it would cost to actually implement these laws.
I'm guessing it's the same for companies as well.
Gaikai probably won't be included in plus though.

You'll either need to pay per title or a whole new subscription (or a higher tier of plus).
I could sit here and point out why you're wrong, or I could just post the proof.
Because, you know, 5 disagrees and 1 comment about a feature that has long been established as part of a system people are STILL commenting on negatively says nothing about the rage surrounding it being unsubstantiated or anything.
Definition of family (as if this needed to be expained, you very literal people):

What was the last single player game you played? I mean, strictly single player, absolutely no multiplayer component whatsoever? I'm thinking Dishonored on my part.
Do you think the trend towards adding social features and multiplayer modes - given what we know about next-generation and the features that both consoles brag - is going to subside? Rather, do you think developers are going to continue to presume most people have decent connections and will include features t...
How about you leave your disk safe at home, and just play the game anyway? Hell, that way your friends can keep on playing even after you've gone, and you can join them from home later.
Or are we still somehow saying that this isn't a good feature?
It depends if those rural areas have literally no internet, in which case they'll basically be used to being left out. It's unlikely they'll get phone coverage either and they may even find getting post relatively difficult. If someone in that situation absolutely needs a next-gen console, they're going to end up with dozens of half-games and a system that does hardly anything advertised regardless of what they choose - be it current-gen, next-gen or PC.
If th...
I don't see it being the saviour a lot of people are saying it will be. The opposite in fact. Once that initial few million people buy into their next-gen console of choice, the industry is going to need the less keen demographic to jump in.
I'm not sure at this point - with what we've seen from the Wii U and Vita, and even the 3DS to a certain extent - that people will be willing to make that jump unless they're specifically invested in gaming, and even more ...
There have been a number of battle systems in FF over the years. Aside from a team of allies, I'm not sure there's a single thing you can say defines it universally.
"I positioned both this game and that film within the broad blockbuster genre of entertainment"
Don't you think that rather sums up what you just quoted? I mean, he could have said Hostel or Saw and that quote would still have been valid. Whatever the actual film - aside from the fact they're meant to be enjoyed at face value and little else - mean nothing to his comparison.
It's still a comparison, but it's a damn broad one, and com...
@Hicken
Jesus, you just love spouting bull.
So your evidence that this is even a thing on Xbox One is... what?
@tiffac
You misunderstood my comment. Itachi said that the core target is the most important, because they'll be the ones standing in line - that's just not true.
Phone nuts don't stand in line for the iOS devices. They wait for the latest Android, and even then they don't necessarily buy it on day one. It's those that love the brand that wait on day one and the same will happen with Xbox One regardless of the core.
Not possible while brick and mortar stores exist. Publishers/devs aren't allowed to undercut competitors.
@ItachiUchiha
Yeah, just like the core tech fans are the guys standing in like for the latest iPad.
"Someone who wants more freedom, less restriction, lot of great exclusive/multiplatform games and more value for the money they are investing in the console should be considered a true gamer and consumer as well. As of now MS is not in favor of these requirements."
I notice the one thing you didn't mention was actually playing games.
"Its not about being fake or a real gamer, its about freedom of choice,"
Nope. He said...
