Every day has a set of brand new deals. There's also a rotating set of three that change every eight hours and one that the community vote for.
So it works out that you're getting 21 new deals every day, although some require you're there at a specific time.
The only difference is that this one has pictures of deals, while the other has a text list.
If there was one game that will end up reduced over the next few weeks, it'll be Half-life.
You might even get a better deal. I know I was going to see what they'll offer on the Orange Box.
Reports aren't working for some reason, but this is a duplicate post: http://n4g.com/news/1308699...
It wouldn't be the Steam sale unless nothing happened for ten minutes and then nobody could get on.
@Hufandpuf
Hype and brand recognition.
I'm pretty sure you're expressly warning against trying to face the Zolom, and there's only one place between there and Kalm that's worth checking out.
Have you tried playing along with a guide? Might make the game more fun for you.
The poor souls who walk around smelling like a cheap brothel all day probably deserve something in return.
There were a stupid amount of Vita games at E3. I want to say 50+.
And the Vita came out November 2011(?) in Japan. February/March 2012 in EU.

@Piegoose
It had been in the Steam database for years, and started getting updates at around the same time as the Square version released, including logos.
Not an obvious indicator, but a fairly sure one.

Personal bias shouldn't exist in a professional review. If it does, find another critic.
Listing personal bias isn't a fix anyway. I dislike certain sorts of games, but that doesn't stop me from objectively saying what works and doesn't work, and what might appeal to those who do enjoy that kind of game.
I think Halo is a fantastic game and franchise, but I've never played one that I've enjoyed. If I'm forced to write "I disli...
Because enough people subscribe to Plus and games are cheap enough to put onto the service that everybody involved is making a ton of money.
You didn't think they were literally giving games out for free?
So you'd be in the "not most people" category then?

This makes sense to me. It's not even about quality, although that's the obvious place to jump.
It's pretty much a fact at this point that most people don't finish their games. How many people play for two or three nights and then trade it in or have it sit on a shelf?
A demo will give these people a fix of that game. Hype is gone, the "new" feeling is gone... then it just comes down to how much more I think that full game can offer ...
"Because it starts off slow we aren't given a false sense of action."
Ok, you're either being deliberately obtuse or you just haven't played the game. There's a hell of a lot of action in the first half of the game.
A lack of action isn't my problem.
Take a look at The Godfather as an example of slow pacing done right. There aren't enough layers in the early part of the game to keep the momentum going. There ...
@Psychonaut
Thief isn't an action-stealth game. It's a stealth game. That there's action isn't enough to cross genres, whereas there's too much straight combat in TLOU (and Batman) to warrant the stealth tag, especially when, for the majority of people who play, the stealth is entirely optional.
"I personally have had no animation problems, could you care to tell me what has happened to you? or I guess you have heard happen."
Poor pacing in the first half; countless annoying glitches; average stealth mechanics when compared with other third person action-stealth titles (Batman specifically); an over-reliance on "random" encounters to increase length of game; side characters who are more notice boards for the world as opposed to individual characters.
Animation problems. Lighting problems. AI problems. Scripted event problems. Invisible wall problems. Multiplayer problems.
Trophies only popped at the end of chapters in Heavy Rain.
