It amazes me how many people on this site lack the attention span to READ the first few lines of any article before commenting.
They said that the discounts haven't been applied yet. Those are the regular no-sale prices.
I find it ironic that you complain about the $600 PS3 price tag, and yet you take pride in buying two 360's to counter the RRoD issue.
Do a lot of the zombies shoot back? Has the game thrown away its identity and become a war game now?
It's cool that they're giving away swag as prizes for good performance rather than money, but if the thing wasn't such a gawky M16/FAMAS Frankengun, I'd try harder.

Rockstar seems to have deluded themselves into thinking they created a full game just because they included a new story in their DLC (that can't be played concurrently with the original) along with the extra guns and vehicles. But calling it a full game just because it has a new story and has to be booted up separately even though it uses the same engine as GTA4 is like calling pretty much every expansion pack ever released a sequel.

Yeah, R&C and Uncharted havent gotten Platinum in the US yet, and arent even scheduled to at this point, although I'm preeeeettttyy sure they've each sold over 500k and been out for a year now.
Demand for MGS4 has gone down over here because pretty much everyone who wanted to play it has played the hell out of it already. The USED shelves at Gamestop are overflowing with copies of MGS4.
When will Sony take the c@ck out of their mouths and give platinum status (and price, mind you) to all the OTHER games that deserve it (like Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank) and have been out longer, instead of just using it as a way to liquidate stocks of games no one wants anymore(don't get me wrong, MGS4 was superb, but face it, demand for the game has dropped to zero at this point)?

This is probably one of the worst articles I've ever read. He claims its not a rant, but he doesn't give any hard evidence to back up his points, other than by simply repeating himself over and over a little differently each time, and by randomly bashing on Steve Balmer. i'm glad the early reviews are banned, but don't be whining about Halo Wars's 0.8 when 1) it was retaliation for an earlier wrongdoing, and 2) any score is an unfair score at this point, since neither game was released.
Hey Ubisoft, YOU'RE supposed to make US want the game. We're not here to convince you to make one, especially after how disappointing the first one was. It'd be smart to provide some details about the next one instead of simply holding the franchise hostage, because we're certainly not going to blindly invest our faith just to make you feel important enough to make a sequel.
Even a teaser would be good for now. How hard can that be?
Counter strike is actually a sloppy game based off a mediocre engine. The way the community plays it and mods it is what makes it amazing. But don't call it the best game ever when the game itself is clearly outdated.
