I'm guessing the original intent of these articles was to show which system could push itself farther to achieve more, but clearly this game makes little effort in the graphics department on either system, so why bother? All it shows is which system the developers slacked off less on.
Does anyone else find it sad that 360 publications would HAVE a section with that title? YOu don't really see a lot of "Steal it for PS3" articles around, much less with that particular phrasing.

Nope, all regions have different Platinum/Greatest Hits libraries. Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank were made PS3 Greatest hits last year in Europe, but still sell at nearly full price here, with no plans of going Greatest anytime soon :(
Somehow the US gets shafted when it comes to these Greatest Hits price drops.

More polish never hurts a game with this much ambition. Better to make a game worth playing and compete with MW2 and MAG later than release a s***ty junkpile title earlier that no one will play.
I don't see what the whole outrage is about. If Sony no longer produces the backwards compatibile 80gb model, how are they supposed to give the guy one? Break out the Scrolls of Greater Summoning...
At least Sony is offering him a brand new console. And if he wants to play his old OLD outdated ps2 games that bad (which i doubt he honestly does, given the great ps3 lineup out now), then he can pull himself together and shell out the $25-50 to get a used ps2.
I have to agree with the author that the Killzone 2 sniper rifle is the best i've used so far, but not because of the sixaxis (in fact, i dont even use it). I simply love the way it feels and sounds, and think it was brought into the game effectively. Sadly, the trailer suggests that IW probably intends to once again villanize the "evil Russians" as they did in Modern Warfare 1.

I wish people would seriously stop overanalyzing the name change. IW just wanted to streamline the title so that it would be a title and a number (Modern Warfare 2) instead of a title, subtitle, and then a number (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2). It's a trivial adjustment, and I think people would stop treating it like a divine signal from the FPS gods only decipherable by those bored enough to figure it out.
MW 1 was already special forces only. The SAS and Marine Force Recon are both real-world special operations forces (although admittedly, there wasn't a whole lot of actual recon in the blazing gunbattles of the John Wayne, i mean Marines, portion of the campaign).
I couldn't wait for the first game to end.
