Have you ever written a single post without the word "PC" in it?
"get 9 disagrees for saying "this game looks really good but I can't afford a PS3 right now" is now a view, it's a financial hardship. That's just lame"
Embrace the greatness that is N4G.
No matter how great the game is, you'd have to be a die-hard fanboy to think that that RPG blast did not look $hitty.
But no.
The author must've REALLY loved every bit of MGS4.
PS3's exclusives tend to be far superior technically and artistically (MGS4, Valkyria Chronicles, inFAMOUS, etc) and always bring fresh experiences to the video game industry. But many of them tend to be focused on single-player and being more of an experience than an addicting pastime.
X360 exclusives are the opposite of that. They aren't the most sophisticated games, but they do tend to provide a lot more replay value. Well-crafted online shooters like Halo 3 and Gears of War...
Not to mention that a lot of the most beloved PS2 classics like Ico and Zone of the Enders 2 are out of production for the PS2 and are extremely difficult to find in stores nowadays. These re-releases help out the people who didn't buy them before. I myself bought a PS2 after I bought a PS3 and I can't find many of the PS2 games I want anymore, so I'd greatly appreciate any sort of reprint that Sony has to offer. I don't see how we're being anally raped if Sony's not forcing anyone to buy the...
It's not like the games offered in them can't be bought in stores. If people know they want to buy a console, why do they stubbornly wait for a bundle to come out with a game they like? Is it really so much trouble to buy the console and a game separately if the bundle doesn't come out for months?
Wouldn't be rejoicing right now since they surely know the discount is only $5.
No...more...puns.....
Say goodbye to any claims of realism...
I wonder how many people are complaining about the cap just to give internet strangers the impression that they're somewhat popular...
Microsoft always f*cks something up their first try. No sense in throwin away money.
I want me some ZOE.
Hope you like near-sighted paintball.
You realize it's just a generic mannequin head, right? They spend like 3 seconds to make each one, as its only function is to be a stand for the crap-assed NVGs. If you look at the pictures, there's no detail on his face at all, and he's even got an unnatural-looking ledge jutting out of his forehead. Super realistic.
This is probably just Codemasters' way of making fun of Activision for their ridiculously-useless NVGs.
Believe it or not, I'm more attracted to this than any of the MW2 sets. The game looks more exciting anyway. I think I'll get this over the CoD4 rehash.
That's what the real standard-issue ballistic helmets look like, though. But they usually look cooler in real military photos because they have camo helmet covers on them, which you can buy at any surplus store for like $6.
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth was by far scarier than all the games talked about above. Sadly, it was last-gen :(
I think the guy who played Eomer (Karl Urban) would do better.
Big deal. Cool your ego, pick an automatic, and be done with it.
Your ability to show off with a semi-automatic weapon is a small price to pay to weed hackers out of the game.
