Questions which Bungie has never even thought about until now when they're running out of ideas. I once read a magazine feature about Master Chief and his suit and from the answers Bungie gave, it was obvious they were getting every bit of Halo history out of their asses on the spot. It's just not thought out. Up to Halo 3 they've been winging it, which is why the stories and the endings suck.
Take it easy there, cowboy. It's not a race war.
I can't agree enough. Don't get me wrong, Halo 2 on XBoxLive was the most fun I've ever had online, but the game itself is nothng special. Its redeeming quality is that everything works, but it is by no means innovative, original, or groundbreaking.
Hey, they were fine with making Halo 3 marginally better than Halo 2, which also was marginally better than Halo 1. So why not make Halo 4 right now?
Just wondering, cuz they put a different spin on the situation.
"then Aftonbladet asked if someone was holding a gun to his head and he had to select one, what would it be? Hirai joked he’d have to be shot as he really doesn’t believe the PS3 needs anything from the 360’s line-up."
According to them, he was joking. All fine and dandy, no? Wasn't like any of that harsh criticism MIcrosoft has been handing out lately. Next time do yourselves a favor and c...
Ever heard of a comma or a period?
Unlike a hard drive, Backwards compatibility is a luxury, not a necessity. I was also pissed at first for having to settle with the 40gb PS3, but once I started playing games like CoD4 and Oblivion, I got over it. And if I were that parent I'd tell my kid to do the same because he can't hold onto everything for his entire life.
I'd also remind him that buying a ps3 to play ps2 games defeats the purpose of spending the $400 in th...
Not in this generation.
How in the hell would you download that $50mil GTA4 DLC without a hard drive?
Seriously, I dunno. I don't have a 360.
Do Core owners use memory cards for game saves?
Seems like a step back, seeing as how my original Xbox had a huge hard drive that isn't even close to filling up.
I loved MGS4 but I totally agree with you on the boss battle part. Kojima dumbed down the boss fights so more average FPS-playing Joes could pass them. How do you beat Laughing Octopus? Shoot the hell outta her. How do you beat Raging Raven? Shoot the hell outta her. How do you beat Crying Wolf? KEEP SHOOTING HER IN THE FCKING FACE. The only inventive ones were Mantis and the Super-Saiyan fistfight with Liquid.

As soon as you commented, I knew you haven't hit...
Isn't it a lot better when we compare games by year instead of games by console?
I'll go with 2008. GTA4 and MGS4 blew me away more than anything else this generation.
Well 360's "best" game was also a multiplatform game til just now!
Took rather long for Halo 3, the OMGLOLBestGameInTheWorldIMGOIN GTOCUM, to actually hit #1.
"Games like Battlefield:Modern Combat and Call of Duty 4 are teaching the Middle East to be suicide bombers so just be careful going in."
Not only is that woefully false, but that may be the most stereotypically racist comment i've seen on this site.
See you in Iraq then.
Don't even TRY to argue that playing FPS games prepares you for getting shot at in real life.
And the article puts it very nicely:
"Watching them makes me think how forgiving videogames are. When you're playing a game you can survive on nothing but a quick trigger-finger and a tactical retreat. It sounds obvious, but in real life we're human. We're bags of meat. We move slowly, and one bullet kills us. If you perform anything less than perfectly in a combat situation, approaching a corner from the wrong angle, doing it too slowly, or too fast, maybe holding your gu...
It improves anything BUT your instincts. FPS games train you on how to point and shoot. In the real military, point and shoot isn't enough. Staying alive is an instinct you need, and so is manuevering tactically through combat situations. Neither of those are learned through reflexed-based FPS gaming.
@GodsHand
I'd call it a price tag rather than a fee. A fee is something paid for a service. We pay for each movie, but the vid service is free.
You fanboys are letting FFXIII get to your head. But know this: Not everybody in the world sells out. There are still decent people around who honor tradition and their word more than profits (basically the conceptual opposite of Microsoft). And if the game came out on 360, it would be regarded as another tactical shooter and would have nowhere near the impact and meaning the game was meant to have. A lot of the story elements and nostalgic references trace all the way back to MGS1, and the f...
Sure don't sound it like.
"a 360 version with improved graphics and extra content "
LMFAO
He's also far and away the most @ss-faced.
I for one agree with him on his points about Microsoft, but I think a lot more ppl would if he'd take his mouth off his own schlong and stop trash-talking like he was the son of Christ.
