Sounds like an excuse to cut costs on Rise of the Argonauts xD
I just love that little comment you left me up there. You gave out perfect advice for yourself. I've dealt with many hypocrits in my life but you just might be the biggest. You accuse me of trying to start a fanboy war and "stir things up." But "open your eyes" and look what you're doing. We're all agreeing that Splinter Cell CT was a great game (I had the Xbox version too, btw), but instead of stopping there, you decide to use it as a vehicle to attack the PS2. Yes, the P...
What the crap are you going on about? I just said it's sad to see so many of the current-gen "mainstream" gamers playing CoD4 all the time and missing out on past-gen classics like SC:CT. I wasn't taking any sides. Fanboyism? Give it a rest. Did I even mention Xbox or Playstation?
The HD generation of gamers is truly a sad thing if they need to be told how good Splinter Cell: CT is.
I totally agree. Pulling the patch was totally uncalled for. I mean, it's just a bug affecting 2% of the people, why pull it? Microsoft had over 33% of their 360s breaking down at one point, but they never pulled them off the shelf. They just kept on selling those faulty Xboxes, like any morally decent company. What the hell, Sony? Give us back our faulty patch!
Kinda like when some ppl had working Xboxes and some ppl didnt, eh?
From the time I got my PS3 last xmas, things have only gotten better. When was the last time MS tried to do something new for the community or make the 360 more compelling for buyers? Seems that MS gave up on improving their console a while ago and decided to sit back and coast for the remainder of the generation, letting Bungie and Epic maintain console sales for them. MS has gotten complacent and believe the 360 can't be touched, no matter what they do/don't do, like a student who slacks of...
That's rough, man. For your sake, i hope MS didn't make you pay for all those 360s.
Sony messed up with 2.40, people complained, Sony got the message and is fixing it. That's where it should have ended. Instead, we've got thousands of ppl blowing the situation out of proportion, taking this one minor foul up and spinning it into claims about Sony having poor quality control, the ps3 becoming a vehicle for AIDS, and the imminent fall of Western civilized society to chinese communism.
No. That's not how it works. If a company screws up, all the consumers need to...
Out with Master Chief, in with the Superintendent!!!!!
It's harder to throw a plasma.

Why is it that no matter what happens, someone always feels the need to complain? What happened to the good old days when people knew how to shut up and take it?
Crysis WASN'T a very good game. Sure, it had insane freakin graphics, but gameplay-wise it was just another shooter. Someone tell me why we're all praising our respective deities after Crytek announced that they, being the world's greatest developers that they view themselves as, would be gracing our unworthy consoles with their blessed gaming magic?
I wish it was, but if PS2 games are about 9GB in size, just how long do you think it'd take to download Quest for Booty, a PS3 game, off PSN?
And where in the world are Jak & Daxter?
I'm sorry, I own a ps3 and have only been following ps3 games, but I couldn't help but notice this. Why is the entire gaming community taking sides over this game? To my knowledge, it isn't even out yet. Did the devs announce a buttsex minigame or something? This is unprecedented...such a large body of gamers taking concrete stances over a game that hasn't been released, and even fighting flame wars over their opinionated success projections. Certainly this isn't the only game in history to l...
I'm not hating on this game. This game looks great. I'm just wondering why so many of you 360 fanboys are hating on your own exclusive before it even comes out, then blaming it on us.
I don't see the big deal about the CoD4 engine. Granted, CoD4 was a great game and addicting as hell to play, but it was because of game design and controls. Aside from great visuals, there was nothing technically impressive about the game engine. The concrete walls found in the game all behaved like paper. Pre-set death animations still look as fake as ever. And the AI characters still bobbed up and down awkwardly as they ran. I say CoD4 is the best FPS out there now, but don't be so quick t...
They reviewed it like an action-adventure game. They spent too much time complaining about the so-so plot and dialogue in the single player, when Battlefield was made to be a strictly multiplayer game.
It sucked on console, so why on earth would you want it on PSP?
I don't have a PSP (just a DS), but although I'm all in favor of porting more console hits to the very-capable PSP, I think Assassin's Creed is a waste of everyone's time and money. Devil May Cry would be a much better choice. Or maybe a new MGS title starring Revolver Ocelot? =P
