I'm a PC Gamer as well but there's a difference between upgrading your video card, and get a better experience out of horse power, and upgrading console, and get a better experience due to horse power AND optimization for the specific hardware you've upgraded to. The improvement is much higher and the cost much lower (compared to upgrading GPU+CPU on PC)

Things don't have to be wrong in order to get better, and that's Microsoft's target with Game Pass, Smart Delivery and others.
I'm not sure a game with so much hatred against should be GOTY... doesn't sound right, not mentioning the questionable practices inside ND.
I thought the fight would be TLOU2 and Cyberpunk, but I don't know if Cyberpunk can aim to GOTY anymore, by releasing in November 19th, which is the date nominees were announced last year.

I'd prefer games, performance, services and overall value any time of the day. XSX is still catching up in one of them... but probably not for long.

Uhmm... Well I have an OLED with a 120hz panel, and that's likely to become a standard for mid end and above TVs in the next years. Keep in mind these consoles are to last 6+ years.
Still can't make a judgement about this since 4k/120 is only supported under HDMI 2.1, and the only platform with confirmed 4k/120 games is Xbox One X.
Can't say I'm not thrilled to try Ori 2 and Gears 5 multi @4K/120fps.
I'm 4 hours in the game now... Have mixed feelings about it. I can say right now that I'm not enjoying it as much as I did with TLOU1, but it's still a technical masterpiece.

We will need to wait until the prices are announced to determine which one is in a better position, and also, the so long rumored "Lockheart"... which I find it obvious that will be All Digital... just like the current Xbox All Digital Edition.
But yeah... that was the shortest path to cut costs for Sony, so it does make sense.
