Seeing at this, I do believe Sony needs something similar to Game Pass.
I've beaten the Valkyrie Queen on Hard mode in God of War... and yes. That was very though... until I memorized all her moves (and upgraded the hell of Kratos)
But none of those get close to what it is to beat the toughest bosses in Sekiro. The key here is that, unlike all other games, farming will help you upgrading to a point so you will find it less difficult to kill a big boss. In Sekiro that doesn't exists. You will only be able to upgrade your strength by kill...
That's a faulty analysis. Game isn't priced USD50 everywhere so you can't infer that's the ideal price. It will drop accordingly and will do soon. Also, there aren't other big releases around... the game is competing with Sea of Thieves lol.
If it was USD50 at launch in my region, as I've said in my previous post, I would've waited a few weeks until it drops. It will happen soon, so even more people's gonna be able to get it at the sweet spot...

Looks like every piece of opinion on 1st party software (or hardware) is considered as being feelings-attached, agenda driven... etc... This is repetitive, so I guess it's just the other way around. Some people just can't stand some sort of opinions and automatically react by saying such comments are carried by "feelings".

Full price will be welcome when Sony starts releasing 1st party game alongside with the PC version... or on a closer date. Shouldn't take long for that to happen.

Masterchief Collection and Sea of Thieves had been topping Steam sales for a while now.
PC Gamers play good titles regardless of the publisher.
If Sony is clever, they should release it at a reasonable price (USD30 or so)

BTW... notice it says "Xbox GAMES Showcase", so most likely, it will be entirely focused on games, leaving August for Series S, (Endinburg?), pricing and other announcements.
Microsoft has A LOT going on for the next generation.
It will mark a before and after in the Xbox brand.
Have really high expectations for this show.
Aside from Infinite and Forza... Give me The Initiative and Playground Games titles and I'm served. I'm so confident those will deliver.

Rumors are that we won't be seeing The Initiative's title, since the studio has just founded in 2008, so don't get your hopes high for this one. Nevertheless, MS can still pull a hell of a show with Playground, Obsidian, 343 Industries, inXile and Turn 10 games.
