over opinionated bellends giving their two cents in blog-like posts shouldn't be posted as news. The fact most of his arguments are "it's coming too late" or "it should have been a feature from the start" kind of defeats the point of the update... Likewise, people who read this and decided to retort with "Buh buh, RROD" need to grow up. It's childish, and microsoft have pretty much sorted this out. Everyone i know with a 360 have had no trouble. Likewise, as a PS...

if you look on the site now it no longer says hard drive required. I'm guessing this was just a mistake on the part of the site.
nothing quite to my liking, although Persona 3 came out in the UK recently so i hunted that down at my local Gamestation. It's killing the time till the next big ps3 releases :)
I completely agree. I personally enjoyed Haze for the most part. It was a fun distraction from Uni exams and filled the void between GTA and MGS. Likewise, i think that regardless of what scores Too Human gets, it does seem to have a lot going for it and i think people will enjoy themselves regardless of what web reviewers think. I'm personally looking forward to it.
I had a lot of fun with the first two, hopefully this is true. If it's due out March 2009, maybe they could drop us some info at E3 as well as on White Knight... *wishful thinking*
I've got my copy, and i love it :)
The right to bear arms is in your constitution... Every American has the right to hang a pair of bear arms on their wall.
I know what you mean. After my last bout of Mortal Kombat, i swallowed the postman, dissolved his skin and then spat out his bones into my garden a bit later... Such a senseless crime, us gamers must be stopped.
It's funny you should say that, because as you said, Itagaki had no direct role in Sigma, but he also judged it as a flawed game. He also said it was just to give a Playstation owners a taste of what they were missing or something to that effect. He's a talented guy but a bit of a douche at times.
a la last remnant :)
The virus originated from volcanoes? Fair enough... Really looking forward to this though. It wont have the scare tactics of the first few Resi games, but it'll be a whole different kind of fear when they're swarming you from all sides and you're trapped. Roll on 2009.
Some people are taking disappointment to mean it was a bad game. I would say i was disappointed with Assassin's Creed to be honest. It was hyped to be spectacular and it looked absolutely amazing, but after expecting to be blown away and buying it, it just didn't live up to expectations. It was a great game, don't get me wrong, but not the game i was expecting to play. I think this is the same for other games in the list. That said, i loved Folklore and Lost Odyssey, so I'm also slightly bias...
Yeah, that's what I'm getting when i click the link and scoured the site. I was actually quite interested to read a critical review as I'm still on the fence about this one. I quite enjoyed the demo but as it gets to the end of Uni year my money's lacking. Need to be tactical in my game buying until i get a summer job, tut.
Played through the demo on co-op with my housemate and I personally really enjoyed it. It was fun, the gunplay was interesting and nectar was a break from the norm. But with this being Free Radical, i can't help but being disheartened at the lack of 4 player split, no bots on multiplayer and the lack of multiplayer modes. There was just something special about an all monkey killathon on Virus mode back in the day of the Time Splitters series. Ah well, will probably still pick this up, but I'm...
I remember G Surfer on PS2 had a pretty nifty track editor. That game was criminally underrated.
I know what you mean, it's shaping up pretty nicely and I'm going to be keeping my eye on this.
Although it's amazing how little interest stories attract when they don't have the words "PS3 vs x360 comparison inside". Tut.
It's not rape if you consent ;)
...Anyway, i think the screen shots are pretty impressive. I think I've started to become desensitised to pretty games now, spoiled by the new generation of HD consoles, but the character models look pretty top notch on GeOW2.
Not as a comparison of the games themselves or anything, but Resistance 2 had a similar murky effect on the in-game footage. I use R2 as an example because it's coming out at the same time as GeOW2 and both have half a year of development left behind them. ...
I dont see why 9.5 would be a bad thing. Based on Gamespot's review system that goes up in denominations of 0.5, this would be nigh on perfect in their eyes. I think that's more than acceptable for GTA4. Stunning game, but with many areas that future releases will improve upon.
I remember the first time i played the original Halo and everything just... fitted. The game was stunning for it's time and the controls were pretty intuitive as far as console FPS games went. That's not to say there aren't better games now, but Halo did have a big input in console shooters, and in keeping the original Xbox afloat in a market of skeptics.
