I disagree that people only want gaming announcements as bragging rights. If they had announced a new game for PS3 as everyone suspected due to that whole "pendulum, back to Sony's side" crap, i would be happy because as a gamer i naturally like new games. None of my previous posts are ever a gloat over another console, that's just a bad mentality to have. People drop a lot of money on something they enjoy, they dont deserve to be chastised for it. VIII had a demo on the platinum version of VII.
X had a demo, a short one with OPM and a longer one that i got along with some booklets and stuff when i preordered ridiculously in advance. This is hardly a pendulum swing, although i'll take a demo obviously.
I wasn't remotely adverse to XIII coming to 360, but i was hoping for like Star Ocean in return, or at least something new. Meh.
PS3 owner, fan of overall gaming and all consoles. And to be honest i reckon the differences will be minute. Just like every other multi platform game that fanboys like to dissect. It works both ways, but at the end of the day, the graphics engine looks pretty sweet so i dont think anyone needs to worry.

if you look at the dates on the report sheet, Hale is transfered for this program in 1950, while the first resistance is set in 1951, meaning that Project Abraham precludes Resistance 1. Furthermore, with Hale being immune during the first game to the Chimeran virus, maybe he's the successful candidate and the end result of a serum that represses infection? I'm guessing the other's may have some relevance to R2 as well..?
I was looking at the title for DKΣ3713, and I've been trying to work out what it means.
My personal opinion is (and hear me out on this), each letter or number represents a game by Square Enix. You have:
D - Dissidia coming to PSP
K - Kingdom Hearts coming to DS and PSP (maybe a KH3 announcement)
Sigma - Sigma Harmonix for the DS
3 - 3rd Birthday? - aka "Parasite Eve 3"
7 - Advent Children Complete (maybe a remake?)
13 - Final ...

I actually found this really interesting. At the end of the day, the use of drones will help protect pilots, but at the same time it desensitizes those pilots to what they're doing to some degree. It'll be interesting to see how they're implemented in future conflicts.
This game looks awesome. My only concern is that if it's a success, we'll be seeing "Mirror's Edge 09," and so on and so forth. Let's hope EA can keep the proverbial milking machine at bay for this one.
As long as it doesn't end up as drab and soul destroying as FF12 it can be on any console they feel like. They can project it onto my ass with laser pens if they want.
On topic, they've just doubled their potential sales for the game. I'm still picking this up for the PS3 and I'm glad people with 360s can enjoy it too. When Square do something right, it usually something special :)

At the end of the day, if you only own one console, the it shouldn't really matter. If you own both the 360 and the PS3 then this adds longevity to your games in a simple yet enjoyable way. In that respects they're both pretty cool. I personally can't wait for more games to start implementing trophies on the PS3, achievements have always kept me pushing at games and coming back to old ones. They're just a bit of fun.
i thought the main flaw with the article was saying Konami was an imitator, when it pretty much pioneered instrument related games. The site even states that the games came out prior to rock band or guitar hero. I think in relation to this, the main thing Harmonix has done has introduced it to a mainstream western market, which is no mean feat, but to say Konami is copying them with instrument perephials is wrong.
completely unnecessary comment dude, this is clearly a 360 games list. And it doesn't say anywhere that it's going to "pwn" the PS3, its just listing some games that 360 owners might be interested in. Dont need to be a douche.
I dunno Chuck, Gears and Fable look awesome but i think Left 4 Dead looks pretty sweet as well. That said, i'm pretty big on zombie related things and I also quite like squaresoft so out of the five it's only too human i'm currently undecided on. I've heard a lot of mixed things about it.

Agito to PSP is pretty cool news as well i guess. We don't have those crazy 12mp camera phones that play Playstation 5 games and perform colonic irrigation for you in the UK like they have in Japan. Game looks pretty interesting too.
