Jaffe wrote/directed GoW. Why shouldn't he talk about Kratos?
And then you'd get sued for unfair dismissal...
Regardless, people can't really criticise microsoft for doing this. E3 is for showcasing to the media, and the more media they can reach the greater potential for pushing Kinect into people's homes.
Yeah, when he completely dismantled that guy midair it was pretty slick.
They're being facetious.
Microsoft said they were to have two presentations because one was geared towards Kinect and suitable for everyone, the other is the one for core gamers that has an age restriction on it and starts in about an hour.
Instead we got a flamboyant advert that has left very few actual gamers impressed. I think most people just wanted to see what Natal/Kinect could do, not animatronic elephants and Cirque Du Soleil.
"The Lots of Red Balls Game"
/bad joke...
:/
Because people are declaring motion controls as the future of gaming. As a gamer, this will obviously effect my hobby, and I therefore want to see how things pan out. I read the article and then agreed with someone on a forum about their opinion. That would be why I'm in this thread.
You can't deny Microsoft's marketing power though. If they market this correctly, the general population will probably overlook the price tag to a certain extent.
Agreed. I have very little interest at all in either of these motion controls. Guess I'm a controller fanboy or something...
Its not really selling it if you give it out for free though, is it?
Nintendo have really taken some serious profit this generation. The interesting situation now will be as to whether they can repeat this success with the next generation.
I'm not sure whether or not the wii has established itself enough as a must have accessory for the general population to "pull an Ipod" and make everyone lap up Nintendo's next hardware, or whether they're going to have to go outside the box to reanimate people's interest.
Have to agree, I'm definitely looking forward to Final Fantasy Versus 23.
I would agree with the Friends List needing changing. I love the XMB, but whilst the online community is growing, it sometimes feels a little difficult to be a part of it. Being able to see your friends' friends lists and compare games/trophies with them would be a small change that would open up the community that little bit more.
People seem to forget Oni; a Bungie game on PS2, PC and Mac.
The only thing that suprises me about this deal is that its with Activision. Regardless of the fact they're remaining independent, a contract is a contract and 10 years is a long time to work with someone. Activision aren't winning many fans at the moment.

A nigh on 2:1 sales ratio in favour of Sony in the U.S. for FFXIII, with exclusive Microsoft marketing, doesn't really support your argument.
The dance The Duke does after booting the little robot was genius, it had me in stitches.
oh, and of course his quote in the newspaper clipping.
"Coming in peace is for simpletons and dullards. I come in AWESOME!"
Haha, this is the only reason anyone needs to stop making movies based on computer games.
To be honest, my immediate thought was something similar.
You should do. This is (probably) the most fun i've had with a PSP Mini.
She survives that.
All I can say is, poor *spoiler*, I didn't want them to die... :(
It's largely believed that Tom Clancy's contribution to the games has been nominal since Ubisoft bought his studio in 2000.
Also, Tom Clancy passed away in 2013, so I imagine his input in The Division is non-existant.
