Thats a GREAT idea Skerj! Gears on PS3.
I just hope they let the PS3 do more than just the four on four multi player and single player for that matter. There is never more than four enemies on the screen at one time from what I saw except for bats.
Is it just me or does it seem like when the BS guy is asking him about the user created content that he is a little slow on the uptake? I can picture Mark Rein trying to talk slower and slower until he understands the words that are coming out of his mouth.
Those numbers are just for U.S. Sales.
Douche you get mad about all the DVD threads but yet you post in every one of them?
Almost 3:1 in Europe. Universal could have potentially tripled their sales if they were neutral.
What is the ratio in Asia? Does anyone know?
1. I don't want my $99 player only broadcasting in 1080i.
2. I still can't watch the majority of the movies I want to see in hi def because they are only on Blu-Ray.
3. Over a year and a half it took to get to 750k players? I can't wait to see Toshiba's financial's.
I just care about what movies I can watch in hi def. I can get almost all the movies I covet on Blu Ray and hardly any of them on HD DVD. Blu Ray has many more popular movies.
I've heard Blacks, Asians and Hispanics get made fun of online as well. If he is proud enough to advertise a choice that he has made in his life publicly then he should be secure enough to accept public feedback. Sadly this is the real world virtual or otherwise.
Those 600,000 or so HD-DVD owners are buying up some movies! I applaud their efforts and I'm sure Toshiba and Universal appreciate it.
I'd be interested to see the numbers in Japan and Europe.
As far as putting on a hi-def show both formats are equally impressive the picture quality is tremendous.
Good points. You can read the bias in his response to Blu-Ray positives but that's his prerogative. If I only bought a HD-DVD player there would simply be too many POPULAR movies that I want to see that I would miss out on.
The problem with HD-DVD isn't the # of movies they have available it's the quality of movies. I have a 2 year old so we have a lot of Disney movies. If I own a PS3 I might as well buy it in hi-def. Ratatouille, Cars, Pirates, Spiderman, Harry Potter (Warner) 300 (Warner) I can all see on Blu-Ray. The only hi-def movie I couldn't see was Transformers and I can live with that upscaled. The majority of the most popular and highest grossing movies I want to see come out on Blu-Ray.

1. Gabe's comments
2. EA developing it
There is no way in H E double hockey sticks I'm buying this game or even playing it.
Koei might as well save their nickels for another project. I don't want it on my PS3.
I saw one look at the movies on this game and wrote it off my list. It plays slow and graphically looks unimpressive. It really didn't look like much fun at all.
If they can keep the price point competitive and build a massive library like the PS2 did. They will sell way more overseas than they will in the US the 360 is very strong competition here.
I'm sure Mario Galaxy is a good game. I just can't bring myself to playing another Mario Bros franchise again.
I also love the way the characters move through the water in Uncharted. It's so realistic.
First I've heard of an online aspect.
