I didn't know MS charged for the themes. Dont' they offer some themes for free as well? At least your still able to make your own on the 360.
There are some pretty awesome PS3 themes out there start downloading them if you haven't already. I really like the openess of the PS3 system. It really makes it feel like it's your own like a PC.
For some reason I'm just not able to get into Too Human that much. It doesn't look all that special. Alan Wake, Fable 2 and of course Gears 2 (if it comes out next year) will definitely be great games.
Ico is working on two different games.
>>YOU DONT HAVE TO CUT ANY OF THOSE FEATURES ON! THEY RUN STANDARD IN THE ENGINE. THEY DONT CHUG IT DOWN TO A LOW FPS CRAWL. <<
What did you mean by that? Can you turn on and off features in Mass Effect?
Both systems will have some good games coming out. I just so happen to want to play the PS3 games a little more. Although Alan Wake looks like it is going to be a classic.
Anyone heard anything new on 2 days 2 Vegas, Ni Oh, LA Noire, The Getaway, Resistance 2, 8 days, or God of War 3?
That does give you a little bit more of a glimpse into how review scores are determined.
>>Channon: Yeah, I guess. I don't know exactly why but maybe it was just because it was the first one out and developers got to know that technology.
Ultimately you get better at making these games the better you know the technology and I think sadly we're nowhere near hitting the limit of the power of the PS3. We'll continue to push it harder and harder. That's simply because of knowledge.<<
Statements like that make me even more excited to see what ...
I like the no load streaming technology in games. Hopefully more and more developers go that route. It keeps you in the game experience.
I don't think a 90/10 week will come until Warner goes exclusive and Universal goes neutral.
I take that back. They're 73/27 which is pretty close without either of those things. It's possible.
As usual the main stream media is a few months behind enthusiasts. Expect MS to release a statement soon to explain to the average Joe consumer that its okay to purchase a 360 again. They'll probably have Major Nelson do it.
That's okay "Mr PS3" I responded with the HONEST answer that I don't own one.
MS has some great games I want to play I'm just leery of all the hardware issues. If they truly are solved (I'm still waiting) then I'll go ahead pick one up as well.
You do know that Microsoft and NBC are partnered?
Both Jane and her editor may get fired over that article.
Calling someone's journalist mom a Sony Fanboy FTW! Welcome to our world Jane.
Gears sold 4 million and it came out when the 360 user base was around 6 million as well.
Kojima said it would be a different game if he had to put it on the 360.
It will sell a million the first day.
The story and acting was terrible but the special effects were amazing. The FX is what makes it so popular.
I think Toshiba keeps forgetting that Sony didn't stop selling more PS3's just because they sold $99 Blu Ray players.
The other thing I wish people would understand is there are people who bought a PS3 strictly to play Blu-Ray movies. Just because standalone sales are in favor of HD-DVD we don't know how many PS3 owners use it as a stand alone player.
If it made GayGamer.net feel better about the situation then I don't see a problem with what Major Nelson did. I would expect any company that cares about the support from their customer base to respond quickly and decisively.
But to be honest my #1 suggestion to the player would be to change his sign in name. If he did that he wouldn't have to worry about the things Major Nelson suggested and could enjoy his online experience just like everyone else.
I agree what most of what he's saying but the PS3 doesn't currently have the best lineup of games. High quality games yes. Most high quality games because of time no. PS3's lineup is getting better and better by huge leaps and I believe soon all three systems will have a great library of top titles to pick from.
I exercised my prerogative and stopped visiting gamespot after that Ratchet and Clank review debacle. I won't visit it again until they straighten out there act. I can get plenty of unbiased game news from other sites.
