"the problem with graphics is that they make the gameplay better. better animations = smoother gameplay, HD res = easier for the eye, better textures and effect = better atmosphere = easier immersion.to prove my point right, play DMC4 and DMC3 and you'll gonna understand what i mean."

Are you serious? Of all the games released this generation, you picked Devil May Cry 4? That's probably one of the worst (if not the very worst) examples you could possibly use, as any a...

"1 ps3=10 wii's

divide the total wii sales by 10 to see the true wii sales"

No matter how much I try, I've not been able to make sense of this statement. What the heck does a "true sale" even mean? Did 90% of the people who bought Wiis pay with Monopoly money or something?

"i dont think Capcom is not doing a okami 2 because of the sales, its more because of what happened to clover studio who made it "

When Clover was dissolved, all of its intellectual properties defaulted back to Capcom; hence, Viewtiful Joe's inclusion in Capcom vs. Tatsunoko. As such, Capcom could, in theory, churn out an Okami 2, a God Hand 2, and a Viewtiful Joe 3.

With the original designers gone, though, the probability of them being as well-made a...

I don't agree with the sentiment, but I'll admit that that got a chuckle out of me.

This is kind of bothering me, so I'd appreciate if someone could tell me: Is the person in that picture a guy or a girl?

I've an associate who plays Wii Fit while eating Cheese Puffs.

He fails at Fitness. :/

"I said:
"The Wii is about as powerful as the original xbox! "

Uh, I am and was aware of what you said in that post. If you'd actually paid attention you'd have seen I was referring to when you said you "corrected" Captain Sony and said he was, uh 'lying'? His statement in question was that the Wii is more powerful than original Xbox. He did not specify how much or in what respect.

The fact that you posted a link that says the Wii ...

Um, except you "corrected" him with an Xbox message board discussion, a single developer comment, and a link that says things like "Well, the verdict is that the Wii has more processing speed than the original Xbox and can allocate more memory with its 24 Mib internal programmable memory whereas the original Xbox had only 64 Mib memory to play around with."

Nice job?

I'm just saying: when someone goes on the news with a story like "Our son was *addicted* to videogames and when we took them away from him he ran away", well, the only conclusion that can be drawn from that story is that they really shouldn't have taken the videogames away.

I don't really see how one can blame videogames if it's their lack thereof that leads to tragedy.

If there is any message in all of this, it's that parents should never try to separate children from videogames.

Evidently, Gamepro made some kind of a Faustian deal in order to achieve popularity on the internet. Except instead of its soul, Mephistopheles just turns every single article that appears on the site into total garbage.

"While Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask were good games, its not until the release of Twilight Princess for the Gamecube and Nintendo Wii that there is a truly great Zelda game set in in three dimensional space."

I know these lists all come down to individual opinions and the like, but I kind of winced when I read that.

According to the site, it's in the PS3 section too.

"Of course the hierarchy of Nintendo is rolling in the dinero but is Nintendo really helping out the cause for advancement of video game technology and way of playing."

I don't know? Is it.

Well, if you define, as I do, helping the industry in terms of bringing money and public interest into it, encouraging interesting artistic decisions, expanding the audience, and helping to further diversify the market, then yes, it's helping the gaming industry quit...

Nice research there.

Really, that part of the trailer where the little thing recoils in horror as Sonic transforms into something horrible before his very eyes... it speaks volumes.

Well, with all due respect, I only ever played the game once, and what I said applied to then, even in that evil Water Temple.

Like I said, it might very well be that it's just me. Maybe I was way older than most other people were when they played the game or maybe I had the advantage of having gone through the puzzles of the SNES/NES games or maybe I'm just some kind of mutant; I don't know. For whatever reason, I just didn't (and don't) really consider those kinds of puzzles ...

I consider it easy for a lot of reasons, like the fact that a lot of the so-called "puzzles" are more like busy work than puzzles. For instance, pushing a block from one end of a room to another, and then in another room, being asked to push *two* blocks to the end of the room.

Things like running into a cracked wall and having that fairy say something like "I sure wish we could BLOW past this kind of thing!" and then receiving bombs that say in their descr...

Kind of a silly list in my opinion. For instance, yeah, I'd agree with Ocarina of Time being incredibly easy, but for entirely different reasons.

Having a lot of save-points in a level does not make a game easy; it staves off the frustration of getting killed by a cheap enemy or boss and having to replay the same twenty-to-forty minute segment over and over again. Yeah, okay, being made to replay huge swaths of game every single time you die can be challenging, but it's also b...

In all fairness, you *can* die in Bioshock, at least in the PC version, as it gives you the option of turning off all those silly Vita-Chambers.
