House of the Dead 2 & 3: The Return already did well on the Wii. If we go by VGChartz, it's sold just under a million units. In theory, Overkill should do about the same or better, if only because fans of the series exist alongside potential newcomers to help drive sales.

Personally, I'd go with Deadly Creatures in that situation. All other things equal, one should generally support original IPs over well-established, popular franchises.

I'm a little confused by the comments about Arc Rise Fantasia being localized. As far as I'm aware, they've already announced that it's going to be released in North America. Am I misinterpreting what you guys mean by localization?

They all had sequels planned but were canceled. Although I think BGE's has actually been put back into development.

If so, it's been tried before. Stuff like 3D Worldrunner or Contra: Legacy of War come to mind.

I don't really see how anyone can blame the poor quality of the 3D Sonic games on his departure -- he was one of the main designers of all the 3D games up to and including the Shadow The Hedgehog game. Last I checked, I didn't see many people stepping up to defend *that* game.
