It'll come out as Ninja Gaiden Delta in like 3 years. They'll just change up the story a bit and brand it as a different game to get around MSs b!tching. I could care less, but that seems to be the way that games are going this gen.
What I do know is that I don't need you telling me what I need. I need exactly what I think I need, and I don't need other people telling me I need anything else.
Am I the only one who doesn't care at all? In-game messaging would be nice, but I couldn't care less about personal music or anything like that. I feel like everyone is making a huge deal out of nothing. You get a free multiplayer network with minimal/no lag. Quit complaining and accept anything they throw our way as extra.
Shin Butoden was the best, for those who have had the honor of being able to play such a rare gem. It was a very limited release for Sega Saturn in Japan only. I'm lucky enough to own a copy, and it is without a doubt the best adaptation.
When did he say that?
Lair was never that bad. Screw reviewers. Play it yourself and judge. Anyone with the motor skills of a 5 year old can play the game well and have fun.
It's called an opinion, a$$. I can like whatever game I dam well please. The fact is I could sit all the way through Prey. It had a moderate difficulty level. I enjoyed the ending. I couldn't even FORCE myself to sit through more than 4 hours of Bioshock. It was the same thing over and over again, the story didn't grip me like it was supposed to, and it was far too easy, as it was dumbed down for the console crowd. So, with all due respect, STFU and mind your own dam business.
This renews my faith in UE3. I can't wait to get my hands on these upgrades. The water looks great, realtime reflection like in Uncharted would be nice, but they're still using env- and spec-maps. Also, he didn't mention it, but they've done HUGE work on their parallax occlusion mapping algorithm.
They're in Burbank, CA. Learn some C++, or Maya. And good luck... you're competing with me, lol.
Do want...
I can't wait till christmas...
I agree. i think the game was a big letdown. I had more fun playing Prey. The texture popin was distracting, the AI was nothing to write home about, and the much-hyped water effects looked like cascading plastic.
There's a difference between "attach rate" and "meaningful attach rate". Just because 360 owners will buy any shovelware thrown their way to boost their gamerscore doesn't mean that it's a good thing. Also, the 360 is more likely to be owned by younger kids due to it's lower price point, and we all know kids will buy any licensed crap you put in their path. I know, my little brothers do it all the time for the Wii despite my warnings of crappiness. The point is, PS3 owners...
I loved the demo. I think I will buy it at some point this week.

Does the USB bus even have enough bandwidth to transmit a 1080p signal from an external player without compressing it?
@Drewdrakes:
Visual studio is not a language... it's a programming environment used maily for C and C++, and it's a pretty buggy and annoying one at that. Real programmers program in vim...
That's the beam of light from his flashlight, and yeah if you aim a flashlight through a foggy/smoky area, that's what happens. If you read up on the game development at all, you'd see that in all screenshots the light will react as though fog were there even though they don't have the system ready to show off quite yet. The pic with the dog looks promising for the fog engine though.
Silent Hill isn't about guns. These people aren't (except for 5) trained to use firearms, and in real life you don't just find guns lying around all over the place. Granted, neither do you find mannequin monsters, but that's besides the point. Part of what makes SH so creepy is the fact that you are stuck with melee weapons sometimes, and you do have to get up close and personal with the baddies.
on a side note... The HDDVD Zombie would make a great webcomic...
Yes, but the tradeoff I get by not playing multiplayer is not having to be online with pretentious d-bags like you... that's worth 5 hours and $40 to me anyway.
