Insomniac can say whatever they want. They have some of the best coders in the business working for them and have been able to pump out 3 technically amazing games in the time some other studios havent even finished one.
pshaw... PS3 stopped working... I'm sure THAT's what it is...
Im voting for Colbert in 2008! Take that, everyone else!
Nope, not a closer, it's actually a Siam from SH5:Homecoming.
Did iD port this themselves? If so, that would explain it. John Carmack is kind of an ass about learning ANY archtecture beyond a single core processor. He had his time in the spotlight, I think it's time for him to either put up or shut up. It's been a while since they have delivered something worth owning.
As a side note, having talked to Mr. Carmack in person about the future of gaming, he is incredibly elitist about his points of view on gaming, is extremely arrogant, and co...
I'm excited for Metallica, not Aerosmith. Now I can see how many other songs that are routine for me to play on the real guitar kick my ass in GH (I'm looking ot you, solo from One). Tap solos are a lot easier when there are strings to tap...
Chuck Norris' piss can clog toilets...
I loved the aftertouch in Heavenly Sword and would gladly accept features like that in games. It also worked well with balancing in Uncharted. Shaking stuff off in Resistance is pretty cool too. Did you know you could shake off fire in Multiplayer? There are plenty of places where it is implemented impressively. It's not time to scrap Sixaxis yet.
Air isn't a place o_O...
Any yes, I can see air when I look at an atomic model of it. Point not valid. Something being too small to see with the naked eye is different from something never before seen by anyone. Show me hell, I'll believe in it, but faith is not something I have. 4 years of Catholic school took it away from me, ironically.
Kid obviously had deeply ingrained problems long before a controller ever touched his hands.
Also, about not having swords, I'm a collector of weapons and armor, I have nearly 100 swords and 8 full sets of leather and steel armor. Would I ever even consider using any of them on someone who wasn't an immediate threat to myself or my family? No, but you'd better believe that anyone who broke into my house would immediately regret it.
My point is, swords don't kill pe...
I really hope that was kidding. No historical inaccuracies? How about the fact that the bible claim THE UNIVERSE is only a little over 12,000 years old? Seems a little inaccurate to me. How about the Great Flood? Wheres the evidence that the ENTIRE earth was, for ANY amount of time, completely covered with water? How about the fact that, multiple times throughout Biblical history, there would have had to have been incestual relationships for humanity to continue existing? That seems pretty hy...
Until you can point it out to me on a map, I'll continue to be skeptical.
Pictures or it didn't happen.
Re-read the bible... God killed WAAAAAY more people than the devil ever did... doesn't seem very nice to me. Sometimes for the dumbest things too.
2 Kings 2:24
God sends two bears that "maul" 42 youths who were making fun of Elisha’s baldness.
Sounds like a cool guy.
lol, as someone who has personally programmed a CUDA derivative on a ps3 dev kit I can assure you that RSX can indeed handle CUDA. It uses a CUDA derivative that allows special communication between the RSX and the Cell. RSX isn't just some 7 series GPU slapped next to the Cell... it has quite a few tricks up it's sleeve that are still untapped and under NDA to this day.
Very old. This is the GeForce 8 series tech demo.
lol, It's widely accepted taht the PS3 is based off of a 7800 series GPU with a greater shader support and advanced CUDA support for direct interaction with the Cell.
Oh well, It's as close to perfect as IGN is gonna let a PS3 game get.
Also, new avatar. It's Murphy Snake, the long lost 4th clone.
Perhaps, then, a wiser post would have been "Despite all of the delays, the PS3 version will still suck." Either way, when I played the PS3 version, it ran like a dream. I think they're just avoiding competition with MGS4.
Having played it I can decidedly inform you that it will not, indeed, suck.
I'm fairly certain that ps4 will have a Cell-based graphics processor with a separate processor for shaders (probably by nVidia) and a 2 SPE Cell as the main processor, as the Cell was designed to be seamlessly scalable from the get-go.
Their biggest problem will be cramming enough RAM in there to keep developers happy.
