without photo realistic textures and moving, animated vegetation (it is very hard to see or appreciate in this video), it isn't as immersive as it could be. pity because the cel shading mod is otherwise pretty impressive. seems like it dumbs down the crysis experience.

Cinematic game play, but I don't want to see the bill for the computer than can do something like 1200x1920, 4096x2160, 1200x1920. probably better to have 3-4 cards.
it would be gaming news if there was a proper 2K nevermind 4K console on the marker. but as PS3 can handle internet content and might benefit from higher resolution display support at some point PS3 owners might be interested in knowing what's around the corner for them.

visit google, then NHK/BBC's work on Super Hivision, which is much more detailed than simple 4K, they have mentioned consumer versions of SHV for the home with really tiny dot pitch, meaning the quality would be ridiculous, but the screen doesn't have to be bigger than current 100" monsters.

yeah BS, the game blows because in this day and age of 3D RTS's taking everything to scale, it is disgusting to see SM releasing another POS CIV game in 2D.
Or is it just that the game can't be managed on some computers on the same scale? I'd care about this game so much more if it was in 3D with at least the quality of Kingdom for Keflings or Anno 1404.

You look at Xbox games though, that have fewer characters and unique chapters and experiences and you have to wonder why the prices for these games are so high, compared to Nintendo games.
