@godmars290, it isn't bad if it sells to multiplayer and co-op players. It might not even be that bad for single players who aren't looking for story.
Digital Anvil, Aces, FASA, etc etc
and all the little studios that made games for both Xbox consoles that didn't get enough money back to stay in business, or never even got their games published.
edit: for some reason I can't help but get the mental picture of someone telling Microsoft that 'the balls go in the mouth' Microsoft teabagging Activision, they'll just teabag back. Since Activision makes the games that don't need Live,...
probably rape the sequel though if it is trying to release the same game all over again.
soulless iterative Forza is good? at least they've released a few in the time PD has been cobbling together GT5 from scrappings of gold and awesomeness.
just a couple more days.. or nights on the street corners and lawns to mow.
SR2 is fan service. I trust volition to not half ass a 3rd game. They sprinkle the world with more people you can interact with like Michelle and Samantha (SR1), i.e. more homies you can depend on in a fight, and I'll be happy. Plus add even more vehicles.
a la where's my F*kn car?!
"Bad Strategy Show Microsoft Doesn’t Know the Xbox 360 Market Anymore"
it should have run windows and been competition for Macs as well as playstation.
applies to crackdown 2 sadistic mode, you'll waste half a clip in a guy only to have him keep regenerating. while you are wasted by his sixteen buddies. If that game needed health packs, orbs, or for you to run to a healing spot, it would be ridiculously hard.
so now I'm buring to know if they'll have the Kia Cee'd, and if you can weight balance the car plus have weather (rain and snow)
pshhh this is man's work. God would have got it done in less than 7 days and be playing it on the 8th.
as far as owning any Xbox or 360 games, it would be good for Xbox platform devs TO be able to think ahead as if Microsoft had any kind of plan or roadmap to allow their games to scale to the next generation, be it a year away or 5. Same for Sony since the PS3 catalogue should be playable on PS4 because they are still good games, which should be able to scale to higher resolutions and be rendered in 3D. It is a strength of Nintendo that whatever games you have will continue to be playable on n...
how do you mean? consoles could have been developed from computers (which weren't personal until the tech was developed). If people were more interested in making the most of their TVs rather than working at home.. it could have happened. The whole TV versus computer and convergence might have been avoided.
Price isn't a problem for some people. Neither is the size of the console. What's important is that the console is powerful enough to be worth connecting to an HDTV, now 3DTVs, run MMOs, and be reliable. That means more cooling and quality. If the basic console is much better quality than before more people will retain them and be willing to upgrade them later instead of getting pissed when they fail.
why can't it work that way? some SKUs are designed for the cheapest possible consumer hardware setups (sadly coming down to what TV they have), which would apply to Sony as much as Microsoft because they must have learned from their painfully slow start that not all consumers will jump in and support their new Playstation hardware just because, but some people are very willing to buy the best they can offer while it is competitive with PC (like running an OS was a awesome touch). But that...
Halo is Microsoft's baby. Bungie had other great games before Halo the RTS was shoe horned onto Xbox to give the platform a flagship franchise.
seems more in line with the first game now. Does the time glitch work on Psychotic?
Just Cause.. is decent?!
edit: oh nevermind you meant in context of graphics and scale. yes Just Cause would be a good example of better graphics and scale. I was thinking yesterday though that the best example for what Ruffian should be aiming for is Mirror's Edge or Portal.

Also having just tried Psychotic.. MUCH BETTER! many many deaths means you might break a sweat. Buffing strength and agility from the beginning pays off but...
no am I mistaken or can you not kill the pilot and take the helicopters?
@SOAD, lack of a budget and they are working on old hardware and didn't want to 'risk' coding the game from scratch (more than likely another budget issue).
