no. you don't get it. not hands, not fingers, it doesn't have the resolution, speed or processing power for that (tracking hands and fingers at 100+ actions per minute).
at best you have both arms as pointing devices, not hands, and at best it will recognise simple gestures, nothing complex. I don't even think it could track you trying to do chest pumps with your arms.
remember Black and White 1? even that is too much for Kinect because you h...
very probably yes, but they have memory and rendering limitations,
if you don't mind crap like SupCom I'm sure they are making something with motion controls as we speak if for no other reason but to help marketing of their next game.
but LBP physics and graphics applied to something like Starcraft? needs another class of consoles.
because it is just that easy to conceptualize, develop and deliver a full blown game.
look at Blizzard.. 12+ years.
using move for anything more than a few minutes at a time.
consider something more appropriate to PC interface like keyboard+mouse complimentary multitouch pad. youtube: 10/GUI
How would move handle unit groups? you need a keyboard.
only good news if the world is MASSIVE. but I'll be buying it regardless.
also comparing this to LBP even in passing ignores the core focus of LBP which is user content creation, not just little buildings, but entire games within the game that you don't have to buy (sims, zynga games etc).
minus Sims or sackboys, it is a bad version of Playstation Home meets Facebook for a 3D social networking steaming dogpile.
What is encouraging is that the Sims can take the hint and finally upgrade their franchise to a world scape like old Sim City and incorporate Sim City game play (which included the same mini games that RTW are demonstrating here).
The Sims needs to expand itself out of the home to include real functioning economies and shit to do be...
Not happening. Crackdown belongs to Microsoft and they had their mongrel bitch Ruffian rush one out.
It is possible, but because it involves money and time, and a new hardware platform, that Ruffian can be redeemed by making Crackdown 3 in a new engine, some years from now, with a new story and compelling vehicles weapons and mini games. Yeah I'm not holding my breath while waiting for that to happen.
because some people will say CIV blows and you should play Diablo or Railroad Tycoon games that have random level generation options and a focus on realtime game play instead of turn based game play...
what I want to see: It never happening! yay!!!
both are old school, take your pick.
SC2 < D3
having sex ever 10 years in a marriage, no matter how glorious, doesn't make for a happy marriage.
and this is only useful if there are useful mods such as putting otherOS on vanila consoles and for there to be legal alternative software to run on consoles.
not unless it magically has 250 gigs of memory for starters. PS3 games are huge.
to a horse even uglier than himself no doubt. christ all mighty.
please god please!!!!
massive agree +bubbles.
but worse is when kids and moron adults get hooked on these types of games and lose themselves, as the Swiss worry.
like what Sim City 5? or other edutainment career building games? there's apparently no market for that.
the games in NA immitate the movies, television and lives of their audience.
this isn't fair, it is an issue of business not morals for distributors.
do gun distributors care if their guns are aimed at and fire bullets at innocent civilians?
the game isn't harmful to human life, even if it lakes in good sense and taste, that the game is available to impressionable children through lax ratings and retails who don't care about ratings regardless, is the problem.
Parents are the other half of this prob...
720p isn't a recommendation, it is a limitation of current console tech. Having made noise about 3D sony at least saves face by acknowledging it as a limitation by making it a policy. That said some 3D games may appear in less than 720p to achieve acceptable frame rates.
For PS3 it is a hamstring, for 360 it was purely intentional (the sweetspot). Unlike Sony though Microsoft doesn't give a shit about 3D and won't even talk about policy regarding 3D, besides say...
