@Sly-Lupin Look up definitions of what an RPG is in terms of video games. All the games except Zelda II don't even fit the most basic requirement (that you get more powerful by beating enemies/some other repetitive, similar task to that). In most Zelda games, you can avoid enemies and it won't affect you. In RPGs, you might get screwed over if you aren't training on enemies to gain exp/levels. There are elements that are typically in RPGs in Zelda, but genre-wise it doesn't fi...
The last 4 FF games haven't really even felt like FF games anyway (11 through 14). I'm more or less okay with this probably because I haven't been a fan of FF as long as a lot of people have. The longer one is a fan of a series, the harder it is to accept major changes to it I think.
People still butthurt about Final Fantasy XV? I understand being butthurt about XIII, the initial release of XIV, XIII-2, Lightning Returns, maybe even XII, but XV? It's not even out yet.
RPG? The only Zelda RPG is the second one. Anyway, I tend to judge certain games on everything but the gameplay (which is inherently weird due to the medium itself being called 'video games'). It's probably why ALBW doesn't quite enthuse me like it does others.
It doesn't look amazing to me, but maybe that's because I never played A Link to the Past. (Why didn't they call it Triforce of the Gods? That sounds way cooler than a silly pun.) I did enjoy Link's Awakening though. Honestly Link's Awakening, Twilight Princess, and Wind Waker are my favorites.
I consider myself a pretty big, albeit recent, Metal Gear fan, and I'm fine with everything I've heard about it other than TPP will take a while to make.
You're probably going to have to live with those things.
You do realize Metal Gear games of the past either came out on PC way later, got bad ports, or never came at all to PC right? I do hope it comes to PC, but it's really a small hope considering it's a Japanese dev.
The AI is smart either way. The title just made that up. The enemies seem to be more vigorous about killing you in hard from what the recent demo shows.
Don't care. They had me sold at "new Metal Gear game".
I'm not entirely sure about it coming to PC. Hopefully MGRR coming to PC is a good sign that the series is beginning to re-enter the PC scene.
Yeah. This is also what I'd say to anyone claiming Metal Gear is a Sony franchise. People need to learn that the series includes MG, MG2, and MGRR. All three of those fit in perfectly, and I have no idea why anyone that likes MGS1-PW wouldn't like those.
At work? You have good internet connection there?
I have a Vita and I can't wait to try remote play (whenever the hell I get a PS4 that is...)
The series itself isn't confusing, it's the way he's been announcing games lately that's confusing.
Hayter probably wouldn't do it anyway.
I think I'll start with it turned off, but if it does come off as a necessary feature, I'll turn it back on.
You could import the special edition from Japan if you really wanted to. I'm kind of disappointed other regions aren't getting that bundle localized.
But publishers put characters we've never heard of on covers and people still buy them.
Either VI or VII is the best. I used to lean way toward VI, but now that I think about it, I like them about the same.
