the first one is on the vita. there's nothing that points to it not coming to vita.
I'm tempted to buy a Japanese copy of it.
Saying something's westernized is so eastern. Jokes aside: we knew about the no health bar thing since last year.
Okay, I hate this site. Disagree for no reason.
Whenever I see "second life" I can only think of "One day, I will own this place" (if you don't get the reference look no further: http://youtu.be/EEhTn0v7bDI...
Read it as "next-gen will be all about JJ Abrams's Star Trek..." The one game that I've seen that's dong lens flares right is MGSV.
Yeah. Me too. It looks good though. If I were to get into an MMO, I'd probably play this. This or Dragon Quest X (if that ever releases outside of Japan that is).
Depends on how much you think a Kinect is worth.
They're taking JRPG in the literal sense (well not completely). In this article JRPGs are simply Japanese RPGs. What you're thinking of its the genre of turn-based RPGs which are often called JRPGs (in a similar way that the Italian Sergio Leone-inspired westerns were called Spaghetti Westerns). Also, always remember that not all turn based RPGs (JRPGs as some prefer) are made by Japanese people (just as not all "Spaghetti Westerns" are made by Italians).
I was before.
How do you think I felt when Nintendo did the 3DS price drop? I paid 250 and then all of the sudden it was 169? I guess I did get free games doe.
Being a new Final Fantasy fan (started with Final Fantasy III DS in 2008 and I've beat I-VII, played VIII and IX, and beat XIII), I cannot understand the frustration of a long term fan, but I really love the series. I even thought XIII was good. Did you get to the ending in that one? I mean, XIII was okay by the series standard; it's one of the worst, but still not bad.
The only thinks I can think of for them to improve with their design is maybe making it more stable from drops (sometimes the memory card goes wonky if I accidentally drop it somehow). That and making the camera better. Being perfectly frank, Sony doesn't do the Nintendo thing of completely changing how their handheld systems look. I'd just get one now.
@Godmars290 Are you serious? Lol. didn't know that.
(I never understood why N4G doesn't allow longer comment chains) Yeah, I suppose you're right. They ignore it though because a lot of people bent on completion (such as myself) stumble upon XI and XIV, games in a series where all games have a definite end and beginning, and feel like completing the series is impossible. If I were to name XI and XIV, I'd have called them Final Fantasy Online and Final Fantasy Online II in a similar vibe to Elder Scrolls Online, but I suppose I don&...
People buy a Vita because it's a nice quality build. It has a nice menu system. It has excellent graphical capabilities. It has neat exclusives. And it is much better at handling digital sales (er... it would be if the cards didn't cost so much; I'm actually referring to the fact that the games you download are set to your account so you could redownload them if you lost/broke the system). (not a Vita fanboy; I bought both day 1)
It's a good decision for gamers (who don't care about the 3d or how their system looks at all) and for Nintendo (people will buy it simply because it's a cheaper way to play Pokemon/whatnot). Honestly, I didn't believe it when I first heard it.
As long as the kid is fine with playing it, they should be able to.
The reason it took so long is that they were putting minimal resources toward the project. If TitS 2 (lol) does well, then they'll put more money into the third one and maybe even the others as well. I'm imagining the PC (assuming steam) release will help it gain much needed recognition.
