One thing though, I feel like the people that play the Final Fantasy MMOs are a different crowd than the ones that play the singleplayer RPGs. Would you agree? There are fans that even ignore the MMOs when talking about the series.

I'm willing to guess you never liked the game even when it was called Final Fantasy versus XIII. With this year's FF versus rebranding to FFXV, Lightning Returns not looking bad at all, and that small khiii teaser that made those kh fanboys excited, who wouldn't have faith in SE? I've only heard of one person doing this with modern consoles (PS3/360) and he was fairly tech-savvy. Old systems like PS2/SNES/whatever... I love being able to do that because it's easy, but you won't see me running a modern console as a virtual machine (or whatever that phrase was... I forgot).
As of late, PCs have yet to become top in the industry. The quality of PC games is still very much dependent on the advancement of consoles since a lot of major PC games are ports. I don't see a time where most major console games are ports of PC ones anytime soon. The majority, though not all of them are really into gaming, will still buy consoles, and developers will continue to put out major releases on consoles (I'm guessing due to money reasons and fear of piracy or some BS). The lowest setting of the brightness on the Vita is bright. Jokes aside, I really hope so. I feel weird being one of the few people I know with a Vita.
It didn't invent it. It popularized it. There were, I believe, minor games that were stealth. I guess I could have given it much more credit though.
