It's 20 for digital current gen.
There's no way they're doing that. Konami isn't going to screw over people that bought GZ and include it in TPP for free. It's been hinted at and now has been explicitly stated that they're separate releases. Whether people like it or not is no difference at this point.
I guess? Maybe not for anyone that's not a fan of Metal Gear already.
Disagree? There's literally no evidence that GZ is included with TPP. People are best off waiting for some kind of price drop (save insane Metal Gear fans like me). Also, most comments are mentioning it being 40 dollars/pounds/euros when that's the most expensive version available. Barely anyone mentions that it's 20 bucks on current gen digital. 20 dollars isn't bad for this game considering it's a Metal Gear game... in other words, there will be high replay value in it. ...
People, there is no indication that gz will EVER be included with TPP. I rarely buy games, so I'm definitely getting this (digital current-gen). Hell, I might even repurchase it when I have a next-gen system. Like I said, I don't buy many games. I understand why most gamers would want to wait for a price-drop.
Nothing's really wrong with turn-based battles. In fact, a lot of FF fans swear by it which is why a lot of them denounced XV right off the bat (which is weird to me because I never play a FF game for the gameplay).
I hope I get Star Wars Episode VII and Final Fantasy XV in the same month because that would be loads of amazing.
If FFXV is good, which to all the FF purists it already apparently cannot be, then word of mouth will improve it's sales. I think most people buying FFXV will not be fans of the series anyway, so they wouldn't have heard anything good or bad about recent FF titles. I think I'm one of the few FF fans that still wants XV. All the other fans will migrate over to... idk Dragon Quest? Or maybe... Persona?
@Jubez187 Yeah, I love Tales. But actually, I prefer Final Fantasy.
PS1 version is the worst version of it though.
Does everyone on this site think GZ is included with TPP? I really hate to inform you, but it won't be.
I'm getting a Wii U as soon as the next Smash Bros. game comes out.
@Eamon Actually, it's seems clear now that GZ will not be included with TPP.
@Eamon There will be some kind of bonus for having a save file. And a prologue is still part of the game. Skipping GZ would be like not playing the Tanker chapter of MGS2 or the Virtuous Mission of MGS3. I'd question if you are that much of a Metal Gear fan if you weren't willing to play like 10 dollars for the game used.
It's a damn shame how many games are judged simply by screenshots and gameplay videos these days.
People aren't looking forward to Ground Zeroes in this comment thread? That's like my number 1 of 2014.
It's only milking when they don't change much from game to game. Final Fantasy, for example, wasn't milking the series with XIII because that was a great, yet mind-numbingly-repetitive effort. Then they made 2 sequels that seem to make no sense. That's kind of milking, but they did make those sequels different at least. Real milking is most smartphone franchises (namely Angry Birds) and also CoD where the game rarely changes much.
Skipping it? You could always buy it used like a few days before TPP and play through it; (I'm assuming it will be short).
I can't imagine XV releasing anytime in 2014. Hell, I doubt it will even release 2015. So no, I don't think it will be their year.
I suppose they could. I'm just kind of bothered that there are people that think that GZ will be included with TPP for free. Also, not buying GZ now will not affect their decision to have a bundle with GZ and TPP. If anything, not buying GZ will delay TPP.
