Kaz: here *gives FANTA1180 some Costa Rican coffee*
A Metal Gear game with a kickass soundtrack is a given. I almost take it for granted.
You could buy the current gen version. But yeah, I too prefer a hard copy especially when my connection can be slow.
There's always hard mode.
It's really hard to say which FF game is the worst, since all the main series games are good if not great.
The basic deciding factor on which I get first is my Vita. If I didn't have that, the decision would be a little harder.
Where is the new terms of service?
I don't think the main story of it will be that short, but it will not be that long. BUT, there will likely be a plethora of bonus missions à la Peace Walker.
Well, it's my favorite too at the moment.
The only pokemon game with substantial post game was gold/silver (due to the Kanto region)
Didn't some leader of a country give him a copy of Witcher 2 or something?
Could be Uncharted 4. I feel like Naughty Dog has moved on, and Bend did the most recent Uncharted, so it seems like a possibility.
I know how: Twilight Princess HD.
I don't understand this site; I posted a perfectly reasonable comment. You guys thing I'm a fanboy or something? It's clear from my comment that I am not.
If you play all the games in order, the defining moment of the series would be quite early on. The moments when you must fight Big Boss at the end of Metal Gear or the revelation in Metal Gear 2 that the Black Ninja is actually Schneider from Metal Gear 1 after you've already killed him come to mind. Now, most people start with MGS1, so the defining moment there, I think, is the torture scene which shapes the game's ending. Some people start with MGS3, and I'd say the defining mom...
I think I've said this before, but a lot of consumers, (generally not people browsing n4g,) buy based off of brand. Sony PlayStation whatever? Hey! That sounds cool. I've heard of that brand. PC with NVIDIA G-SYNC to synchronize the monitor's refresh rate with the GPU's rendering rate? Sounds complicated. What's NVIDIA? There's essentially no point where consoles being obsolete compared to their PC gaming rig counterparts will stop consumers from buying them.
I'm glad to hear this, but honestly I'm always into Metal Gear for the atmosphere, plot, and themes more than gameplay.
Why not play FFXV when it comes out to pass the time? Or maybe replay KH through KH3D?
Dammit! I thought of doing this. I never have the determination though to do things like this.
Since I'm an utter fanboy of the series, I have no problem buying a game with technically only 1 mission (maybe even buying it twice), but I can see why people are concerned about the price. Hopefully there's enough side-ops missions to make it worth 20-30 USD.
