The Battlefield campaigns are usually pretty bad though. The last good one was 6 years ago now (Bad Company 2), and the ones since have all been mediocre. He would be completely wasted in a BF game, as would Kit Harrington.
Ironically, you're the one with the mental maturity of a child here. If you prefer BF1 that's fine, but they are completely different, despite both being FPS games. CoD is a close-quarters twitch shooter, and BF1 can't fill that void. BF1 has huge maps, destruction, etc but it's much slower paced and your character's action aren't quite as immediate. CoD can't fill that void. Battlefield single player and co-op content is usually pretty bad as well (besides Bad Com...
Will probably buy this. Looks stylish and fun.
To be fair, the Uncharted games already looked amazing, and were way ahead of their time. I own tons of remasters and collections from Bluepoint, and they all pretty much look the same as the originals in terms of the basic look of the games (except with the expected upgrades like resolution and framerate I've mentioned). COD4 Remastered actually looks like a different game. The lighting is COMPLETELY different.
In terms of gameplay changes, the pretty much just made U1...
@Blacklash93
I get what you're saying, but I'm not really talking about Nintendo FANS as "those people". The original comment I was responding to was "finger-pointing". I never said that PC, PS and Xbox fanboys didn't exist (their behaviour is also problematic), and, I'm not claiming that Nintendo fanboys are the sole problem. I'm saying that they are also part of the problem and I'm respectfully disagreeing with assertion that Ni...
To be fair, Bluepoint's games pretty much look exactly the same (with small things like pop-in still being in place) as the original games, except they're in HD and may have a higher framerate. They pretty much justt reverse engineer the games, and leave them as they were. People expect more from remasters of PS3 games compared to PS2 games. This remaster adds tons of effects, lighting, sounds, new animations, interface elements, etc, so it's a bit different.
This really is the problem. These journalists' clickbait articles will always succeed unless gamers take an initiative, on a wide scale. A lot of us gamers think that the best option is to write a scathing comment and leave a dislike in response, but in the process, we are giving them their voice and power. It's a really difficult problem to address.
@InTheZoneAC
This wasn't really a normal Ridge Racer game though. It was done by a completely different developer (the guys who made Flatout), and take the franchise in a VERY different direction (so much so, that a lot of traditional RR fans hated it). It's really fun.
Yeah, Criterion's PS3 games were definitely the best ones.
I'm feeling confident that both this and Watch_Dogs 2 will turn out well.
The only thing we can do is refuse to engage with their content, read their articles or watch their videos. That's what gives them their sway, money and power.
It's not surprising that these journalists are morons. We've already seen the idiocy of many of them, particularly on display during Gamergate. They are pretty much all based in the same area (LA), and all have borderline-identical opinions to one another when it comes to topics like this. They have way too much of a voice, and [ironically] there needs to be other types of gamers in the media to counteract them. It's unhealthy to have such a lopsided industry.
Quick question, btw. Did you play Ridge Racer: Unbounded (it came out 3 or 4 years ago)? I did in the last year or so (just out of curiosity), and I was shocked at how good it was. I'm now a very vocal advocate of the game. It definitely went under the radar, and it might be worth picking up if you're a big arcade racer fan, and if you enjoyed Burnout and Split/Second.
Hot Pursuit was my favourite PS3 Need For Speed game by far (I'm a huge lover of the Burnout games, but this was still different enough to be its own thing), followed by Most Wanted. Without Criterion Games, I have a lot less fate.
What he's saying is true though. Having the opinion that throwing in a "man boner" pick is a bit odd, does not mean that you're insecure in your sexuality (that is an poor, overused shaming tactic). It's actually the opposite, unless he hated gay people or something, as there's a decent chance someone in that scenario is secretly ashamed of themselves.
Studies have shown that straight men have an extremely rigid sexuality compared to straight wome...
They're going to be free. It was confirmed earlier.
I wonder if it's a really small cameo, or if he plays an actual role in the story. Honestly, I think I'll be buying Infinite Warfare though. The latest footage seemed pretty good.
I like their policy. I never said that their 360 offerings were better. I'm a big advocate of PS Plus (I think it's a better service, overall). I'm praising that you can play actually play them on your XB1. There's no way you can spin that to be a bad thing. It's a big deal being able to play these free 360 games on your XB1 (it's 2 more games per month for your next-gen console). I wanted to play Human Revolution in anticipation of Mankind Divided. But honestly, I did...
It's little nuances like this that make me wait for GOTY editions (and it's cheaper and the games have been fixed and updated). Still haven't played the game yet, but I imagine I'm going to enjoy it. It's way cooler having stuff like Vault Building being available in your first playthrough.
What? The amount of hate directed towards Infinite Warfare is the most a CoD game has ever received, even here on N4G. You are delusional.
