Insomniac cannot be bought.
Tbh, I'd rather see them do there own thing.with new IPs and stories.
Are you honestly asking what would "even be the point" of an MGU? An MGU would be cool for the same reasons that people appreciate the MCU. You can like or dislike the idea but obviously there's a point.
"By letting various publishers apply to the Marvel license we get that many more games." What portion of my comment precluded the notion that I also believe that multiple publishers should be allowed the opportunity to apply for the Marvel licence? ...
Insomniac were the perfect fit. They just know how to make insanely fun games.
It's cool that this is intended to be a starting point like Iron Man. It seems that we're sort of getting a MGU.
This is a very loaded comment though. It raises so many questions. Does this mean that Marvel games are only coming to consoles ("a new era for Marvel console games")? That seems very specific. Will all of these games be in the same universe as Spiderman? We've been told that Spiderman will always be a PlayStation exclusive. It would be odd ...
That's all fine and good (as I said, "Overall, it's inconsequential ... ") but it is amusing how the terms have all piled up on top of each other. It just is.
Not really. A single term is being added to the original title in all of the cases that you've sighted. There's nothing particularly absurd or odd about those titles.
New, U and Deluxe are all additional terms being attached to the basic name "Super Mario Bros." Nintendo's naming schemes are so all over the place that they actually HAVE TO call the game something similar to their final decision since the Wii U version is already a mouthful with "...
Yeah, I agree. I pretty much put forward the same opinion as yours after I stopped blabbering. PUBG's numbers on Steam are falling rapidly although it's still a dominant game on the platform. Blackout is most likely going to do so major damage. Even Battlefield channels are gravitating towards it. We live in an odd time.
Yeah, I know that an individual's approval rating can be more than one. I'm just pointing out that the story had approvals almost immediately when it went up (it must have been within the first 20-30 seconds). Just a bit odd.
That's pretty close to the number of PS4s in the wild. Sweet Jesus. I wonder if there will be a noticeable drop in the September numbers due to the Blackout beta or if the player count will be largely unaffected. I think it's fairly safe to say that COD won't be dealing a fatal blow to Fortnite with numbers like these though. That being said, PUBG's on suicide watch.
If EA are smart, they'll make Criterion's BR mode for Battlefield (Firestorm) free-t...
2 approvals and it hasn't even been a minute ....
The second trilogy hardly had tank controls. While outdated in terms of combat, they feel pretty good for the most part and are still fun to play.
@LoveSpuds I'd put that game's failings down to EA being the publisher considering it changed so much from reveal to launch.
I see that these guys haven't seen Ivy in SoulCalibur 6. Sweet Jesus. https://youtu.be/aNi1jjtFda...
Eejits being eejits. You'd have to be a real snowflake to get offended by that comment.
Insomniac have always made great games but they've never had a game sell anywhere near this amount. They must be ecstatic.
An MGS1 remake (wasn't a big fan of Twin Snakes) would be great. I'm not sure what direction they should go with it though. I'm not sure if I'd prefer developers keep the old mechanics intact with some minor adjustments (the game is one of the few PS1 games to have aged really well outside of graphics) or make it more like MGS5.
Out of interest, did you prefer Hulk: UD or the Prototype games (both made by Radical Entertainment)? Both are awesome games. I've always wondered which game(s) are preferred considering they share a lot of the same DNA.
Damn. PS Plus is on a roll. I've been wanting Nioh for a while. The fully functioning cloud save system is nice too. lol
This list is solid. Tony Hawk Pro Skater (1 or 2), MGS1, a Tomb Raider and Resident Evil are non-negotiable. Crash Team Racing and Twisted Metal 2 pretty much are as well. If they don't include these iconic games it's just not the PS1 to me. Many of these games are already on the PS Store for PS3, PSP and PS Vita. There simply isn't any excuse, especially for the asking price. Seriously, Pro Skater or hit the road.
Also, they better release an optional dual ana...
