Lucas did unspeakable things
CRank: 13Score: 169360

The game suffered from a bad case of spaghetti code. The game devs probably crunched enough to get that game working on PS3 and the 360. If you asked them to port that game to PC, Rockstar would probably have needed to install nets around the buildings.

It's a shame but I think it's fairly safe to say that RDR2 will be coming to PC at some point though.

I currently live in the countryside with a 5MB download speed. God help me. If I ever delete the game (storage management - games come and go) and then wanted to reinstall it on a whim, well, that would be madness on my part. For a game as big as this which is bound to get huge updates as well, the physical disk will make life a bit easier for me.

I've actually shifted to buying most games digitally now but this game, well .... it suffers from data obesity.

Physical disk it is. I'd like to get to play the game before New Years

It does run like shit but recent videos of this game being emulated were basically a slideshow (probably around 5 frames per second and sometimes less). This actually is a huge improvement.

They've got a power and a force

Definitive proof that Steam user reviews are borderline useless. Certain users rage over the dumbest shit.

Didn't MW2's multiplayer borderline not work on PS3 at launch for a few days?

The fact that the ratio between PS4 to XB1 is way higher than the ratio between XB1 to PSV is hilarious.

You're whining out of jealousy that someone may have a better job than you, so they're not allowed criticize poor working conditions. "Whiiiiiin whine cryyyy cry". Corporations overworking their workers is not acceptable. You making excuses for this just makes you look like a fool.

Given that Rockstar have a history of overworking their workers, it's irritating to read comments like, "It was only the writers!" Has everyone just forgotten the Rockstar Spouse controversy?

"We're saddened if any former members of any studio did not find their time here enjoyable or creatively fulfilling and wish them well with finding an environment more suitable to their temperaments and needs ... " AKA "Too bad, why don't you go so...

Going by VGChartz's numbers, COD: WW2 is the third best selling PS4 game of all time. Selling 36% more than that at launch (even if these are Japanese numbers) is definitely impressive. I wonder how it's selling worldwide.

You're going down, Mr. Bean.

Perhaps they'll port it later like Doom and Wolfenstein. When you target a game for a certain level of power it can be difficult to downgrade and optimize your game for a weaker platform - even if the Switch can definitely play some version of this game.

The WB fighting games (Mortal Kombat + Injustice) are a strong exception.

So people who are opposed to people exploring polical ideas in entertainment, do you shut off Gimme Shelter everytime it comes on? C'mon.

Don't get me wrong, I understand that we are inundated with politics and news stories. But ... it seems that some people are just a bit sensitive and cannot tolerate their ideas being challenged. I'm going to get flak for this but this issue partly stems from certain individuals wanting to stay in their own political bubble.
