Oh look, a Nintendo fanboy regurgitating a cheap talking point. This is the same crap that we've seen since the Wii - Nintendo fanboys (not fans) take a game's strength (be it graphics, story, scale, etc) and paint it as invalidating or being extremely detrimental to its gameplay. All of this because they simply can't handle a game on an opposing platform getting praise.
How is God Of War a game about being a spectator? That's not remotely true. Who do you t...
Even weirder still, Crash Bandicoot was fastest selling game on Switch this year when it came out.

They rarely if ever get these predictions right. At least we won't have to wait as long this month to find out what the free games are.
I am notorious for doing this. It's like mixing flavours. For example, I simultaneously played God Of War, Resident Evil 7 and Redout (a ton of variety). I don't typically switch between games within individual play sessions though.
And Sony saved us from Nintendo. Nintendo made (and still make) great games but they weren't fit to have that level of control over the industry. They tried to prevent games handling mature themes, violence, etc. They wanted the violence to be toned down in Goldeneye and for the game to end with Bond shaking hands with all his enemies in a hospital. And this was during a time when the PlayStation was already forcing them to accept change. The PlayStation was as much a revolution as the NE...
@showtimefolks I know. It boggles my mind. It's why I don't bother with Youtube comment sections.
Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the hardest difficulty was piss easy (minus the version of the highest difficulty with no checkpoints), especially since you can abuse the healing system if you get into any trouble. All of the Uncharted games' basic hard mode provided a much greater challenge. I liked Rise Of The Tomb Raider btw but it was easy.
I appreciate the new Tomb Raider games but mechanically, Uncharted far surpasses Tomb Raider. The shooting, climbing, cover system, etc are just far better. You're given finer control over Nathan than Lara. These aspects of Rise Of The Tomb Raider are inferior to Uncharted 2, let alone Uncharted 4. There's a reason that the multiplayer in the first Tomb Raider reboot didn't work out. The gameplay is fun but it's less responsive and not good enough to smoothly translate to MP. ...
While I had some problems with Rise Of The Tomb Raider, it was a step in the right direction as regards puzzles and platforming. I had quite a lot of fun with it despite it's awful story and writing (although, Craft Manor marked a decent improvement there). I'll probably get this game but not immediately. I know I'll enjoy it but like most I'm not particularly excited or hyped for it. Wasn't a big fan of how they treated PS owners either (most Tomb Raider fans).
Most people who did that were fanboys. One of my friends in real life passionately lectured me that Horizon was generic. Inevitably, he admitted that he had not played the game at all. I just sighed and moved on. It's disappointing that the people who always fall into these narratives and nauseating fanboyism are relatively normal people.
Think about it though. Black Ops 1 came out almost 8 years ago.
Yes. Console and PC gamers made Square Enix viable. The mobile audience is fickle. Give us some new IPs.
It sold better than the Switch as well with the PS4 outselling the Switch.
If they don't make a sequel, they need to at least do some form of remaster. It particularly annoys me that Resistance 3 doesn't work with the PS4 gamepad on PS3. I don't have good enough internet for PS Now.
They tried before. Insomniac wants to be independent.
Jesus Christ, that was awful.
Nah. People are just easily offended when someone doesn't 100% like what one platform does 100% of the time. I complimented the GwG lineup but said I generally prefer PS Plus lineups and the Xbox guys couldn't handle it either.
@jinger This guy gets it.
Goldeneye is a tough one. It hasn't aged well but it's a ridiculously important game and was incredible at the time of its release.
The praise that this game gets hurts his soul. Nintendo fanboys need this game to be overrated or they'll have trouble sleeping.
