Mostly agree. Online trophies should basically just be like DLC trophies with the exception of online-centric games like R6: Siege. I think there should should only be one platinum though. It would kind of over complicate things a bit.
A lot of people (myself included) get kind of annoyed about losing their 100% due to DLC so 2 platinums will drive them mad. Platinums are worth more points so multiplayer platinums would drive down game completion percentages.
Yeah, the lack of games from Rockstar this generation has irritated the hell out of me as well. It's not just Rockstar though. Look at other AAA publishers like EA. They've become very conservative in terms of the kind of games that they will publish. 5m+ units sold and a heavy monetisation plan is their new baseline.

Yes! Hopefully, this is true. Bully, Midnight Club and Max Payne are franchises that all deserve more entries. I never played Manhunt so I can't comment on that series.
Bully 2 is probably the sequel that makes the most sense for Rockstar apart from GTA6. They're going all in on giving individual NPCs cycles (a loose daily routine) and more responses in RDR2. Bully was already focused on making each NPC a real person so Bully 2 is the logical next step for R*.

It's kind of disgraceful that you can play these MGS games on XB1 but not PS4. Jesus Christ, Sony. PS3 backwards compatibility better come with PS5. No excuses. At that stage, the power required to emulate the CELL will no longer be an excuse.
I'm going to have to respectfully disagree (and also inform you that you're crazy). Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (which MGS3 HD is based on) has aged way better than MGS2. MGS2 doesn't have a rotatable camera and comes with less gameplay options, less verticality and smaller environments. 3 is also just generally a better game. In Peace Walker, you can't move while lying down (no crawling). PW is a good handheld game but MGS2 and MGS3 come with better story, bosses, stealth...
I like their list but Brotherhood is arguably better than 2. It's easily better than Rogue.

Modern Lara and Jonah barely qualify as actual characters. Both of them lack personality (plain, boring and unlikeable), believable motivations, decent dialogue or good voice acting.
I like the new Tomb Raider games but the story is a disaster. Also there was a second TR trilogy with good controls. Rise Of The Tomb Raider ripped a lot of its story from those games.

Name changes are cool. Now let us put music on our HDD. SSX on PS3 let you select a music playlist for each event type plus for the game's menus and distorted the music to match your moves. I was so disappointed that MGS5 had custom music on PS3 for your casette tape and helicopter but not on PS4
Publishing games is a huge undertaking with marketing costing 10s of millions of dollars along with you having to manufacture and distribute the disks. It's safer to arrange a deal with a publisher that already has experience, connections and the means to publish games.

RDR and GTA5 were far better made than other open world games (felt more organic and alive, more attention to detail, high quality missions and side missions, characters always having new dialogue when called after missions, etc), so I have no doubt that RDR2 will continue that trend. Previews pretty much confirm this.
