Whoever made this list either has bad taste in games or has only played around half the games on the list. Games like Elex, Maneater, Vampyr, Rage 2, Crackdown 2, Dead Island, Sea Of Thieves, Days Gone, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Mass Effect: Andromeda just aren't that good (fairly bland), let alone top 50 material.

Solid Snake is a playable character in 3 games with a memorable story (MGS1, MGS2, MGS4) and Big Boss is in 1 (MGS3). I like Big Boss but when I think of him I really just think of MGS3 for the most part. His climb from Naked Snake to Big Boss is a highlight of the series but no MGS game did justice to his turn to being a villain. Solid Snake's story was fully reaised. He had a much stronger characterisation overall because of this and is still the face of the Metal Gear franchise.
Maybe EA would have stopped them from ruining Pathfinder. RIP grapple-hook.
