I agree with Jack. The Switch won't reach PS4's lifetime numbers and these ARE just the launch totals (not indicative of what will happen in the end).
That said, things are off to a good start, so hopefully, it's Nintendo who doesn't get complacent.
I wouldn't call it amazing. Rather, based on previous launches, par-for-course. Not a BAD launch, though.
I don't see where he implied that only Nintendo has quality control issues. Buuuuuut..... with the Switch just launching, of course he's going to talk about what Nintendo needs to fix.
I advise everyone to just report him and move on. Absolute waste of time to have any kind pf discussion with.
Because of said response, everyone should know not take anything you say seriously. No rebuttal at all. Just deflection.
I guess that what's happens when ignorance is your tag along.
They do? Have any evidence to back up that this gen has seen Nintendo consistently outselling MS and Sony's software efforts?
Thank you for being sensible here. Of course you have those looking to make excuses (who'd be singing an entirely different tune had things gone the other way), so it's good to see some people "get it".
Yes, 9/10 signifies a turd. Quite the revelation.
OT: Will be picking this up once I finish Ni-oh and Horizon!
Should add "In The UK" in there (since that's all we have right now), but either way, I expect a very big worldwide response to this game!
If any console tops that 250K, it WILL BE the PS5!
Yeah, that title needs an adjustment. The exact quote:
"“Stores across the country last night were packed with customers who couldn’t wait to get their hands on the brand new Nintendo Switch. We even had customers lining up as early as yesterday morning so that they could be one of the lucky ones to score one of the additional units for our walk-in customers. This is one of the strongest and most successful gaming console launches for GameStop in the last several year...
Hype doesn't necessarily translate to sales. The Pro was also very hyped prior to release. That can't (and won't) determine how successful a device will be.
I don't see anything interesting about it. The Slim is the cheaper option (of the two PlayStation systems). Most people won't care about the extra bells and whistles when it costs $150 more to achieve them.
Um.....no.
OT: Game Mode sounds like a pretty cool idea.
What is there to cry about?
No one has argued about the game being perfect, so if that's what you were looking to prove, your input was rather irrelevant. And no, my feelings weren't hurt - I just exposed a flimsy argument and you're having trouble dealing with it.
Try to dispute things without the insults/labels next time. If nothing else, it's the weakest part of anything you have to say and only aids my point(s) against you.
That's what I mean by not really giving credit where due. Your "Just accept that the game is great, but not perfect." comment is not only pointless, but telling. At no point have I argued that the game was perfect.
Beyond that, the "Sony goggles" nonsense is another stab at this. It's not about a preference for many of us. We're just not fooled by a guy's opinion on a Sony product when his history tells what it tells.
Well, unfortunately your history works against you, so I can't really expect you to give credit where due, I'm afraid. Beyond that, the General Consensus of players and reviewers totally disagree with you. So...yeah.
The story is hardly bad. At any point.
Was it worldwide? Because I'm saying this is par-for-course for a Japanese launch. Also, it was a journalist who posted that. Not Nintendo themselves.
