Sony's been killin' it for a whole host of reasons. Price just happens to be one of them.
Doesn't matter. Not everyone expected it to be $499, regardless of last week.
Which was going to happen regardless of Scorpio's price.
Everyone was NOT expecting $499. In fact, "$399" had become the chime of late. However, it won't be DOA even at $499, so from that angle, I wouldn't get so worked up about it.
Nothing to do with GT, but some find peace in comparing these things (for what reason, I can speculate).
Um, not only did the PS4 have plenty of games between 2013 and 2016, it had more than the competing system you so starkly defend.
Get back to us when your Xbox sees its next major exclusive release, while I continue to bump on games like Horizon and Ni-oh. Certainly a can of worms you should have avoided!
Thank you! Not sure why this narrative of it being "dead" has taken off. One territory, or do the US and EU no longer matter all of a sudden?
There's always that one guy in articles like these.
Nope. Not the same, no matter how one chooses to spin it. As for "crying", I asked for articles, not disgruntled gamers. There wasn't as much of it going on back then, from journalists (the ones who often drive these preposterous narratives), and without a solid article to the contrary, my point remains strong.
The Tomb Raider situation was entirely different. That was an entire game vs DLC (and the game was originally promised as a multiplatform release).
Since there are no articles to that era, the question remains and my point stands.
Find me the article(s).
Where was all the crying when PS3 gamers had to wait for COD content?
"Succeeded at what it wanted to do".
You'd be hard-pressed to find many that agree, but I certainly do. The only thing wrong for me was a lack of content (I wanted so much more when the credits rolled). Then again, this is a good thing, because, at its core, The Order was a very polished experience with little-to-no bugs to speak of, unmatched visuals at the time, the game-play was incredibly entertaining (important), solid voice acting + performances, and a s...
Definitely not.
Or some exclusive games, since you've probably been waiting a while.
OT: Sony's silence is part of why they are doing so good this gen.
All multiplatform games will look best on PC. As for Scorpio, I imagine some differences with Pro versions, but nothing substantial (particularly as the PS4 will remain the market leader and will be the go-to system for development).
Spot on.
And those games eventually come out, just like the games they announce only a year in advance. So you've produced a redundant statement.
Feb 20, 2013, actually :P
The difference is Sony actually shows, and releases, plenty of those exclusives. But continue defending a company that offers you far less. If their supporters don't care, why should they try harder?
